Summary of the role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and highly capable Salesforce Administrator to support the Media & Distribution division capitalizing on the benefits offered by the Salesforce CRM system.

You’ll be the owner of the Salesforce environment and serve a key role in supporting all the initiatives that reflect the growth and consolidation strategy and contribute to Hospitality’s overall growth and success.


This role is part of the Data Office team focused on supporting data/business analytics, planning, reporting and CRM tracking activities, and sits within the Evolution and Efficiency Office, whose mission is to support M&D business units in the pursuit of their business objectives.


In this role you’ll

  • Manage Salesforce instances and ensure optimal system and product performance
    • Upgrade and configure Sales instances for optimized integration
    • Manage Salesforce licenses, roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows, and groups


  • Monitor and troubleshoot Salesforce performance issues
    • Perform database maintenance tasks, including diagnostic tests and duplicate entry cleansing
    • Perform regular data quality checks and ensuring high data quality
    • Provide regular training sessions to broad audience and assist with sandbox and certificate management


  • Manage and design Salesforce reports and dashboards
    • Design and automate reports for Sales teams and other departments
    • Connect different Salesforce instances and secure information flow


  • Participate on Salesforce improvement projects and implement changes/updates
    • Lead improvement projects to maximize Salesforce value and increase efficiency of business cycles
    • Manage custom fields/objects, workflows, processes, record types, validation rules, page layouts
    • Deploy Salesforce enhancements within agreed timeframe
  • Develop and maintain system processes and documentation
    • Document processes, including error reports and changes to field history tables
    • Maintain documentation of resolved problems and detailed solution description


About the ideal candidate

  • University degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or similar
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification required and at least 2 years of experience working with Salesforce instances
  • Extensive experience in the administration and maintenance of Salesforce systems
  • Exceptional ability to create and maintain Salesforce databases
  • Previous experience performing Salesforce upgrades and ensuring successful integration
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce products and their functionalities
  • Proficiency in creating Salesforce profiles, allocating roles, and managing access
  • Knowledge of importing sales data and generating Salesforce reports
  • Knowledge of the travel industry and/or a proven track record in a similar role
  • Basic knowledge of data analytics area welcome
  • Proficient in English (both verbal and written); Spanish desired and/or other languages a plus
  • Excellent technical and communication skills with stakeholders to understand their needs to maintain/enhance the system
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
