Salesforce Developer - DevOps

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Maryland Heights, MO that is seeking a Salesforce Developer with DevOps experience.

Summary:
The Salesforce Developer will be focused on Deployment activities associated with all changes to our application in multiple environments (UAT & Production) supporting multiple Salesforce orgs.

Responsibilities:

• Gap analysis, solution design, configuration, and development
• Integrating Salesforce with other applications using web services and other technologies
• Use of APIs, Apex, Lightning, Visualforce, SOQL, and Visual Workflow to develop extensions to

native functionality

• Implementing platform end-to-end, including data conversion and post-production support and

troubleshooting

• System administration, including user management, environment planning, and workflow,

approval, and message configuration

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• 5-7+ years of hands-on Salesforce development and code deployment experience
• Strong Salesforce functional experience as well
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and OO Design
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
• Ability to deliver against several initiatives simultaneously
• Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities

Extensive technical experience with Salesforce in the following capacities:

• Experience with the management and deployment of code to various environments from

developer submitted pull requests (PR). Tools experience to include Bitbucket, Visual Studio
(VS), and Jenkins automation tool experience is desired as well

• Experience and knowledge of automating deployments from the code repositories to the

various Salesforce environments - UAT and Production for the various orgs the team supports

• Experience in preparing small and large code packages that can be validated in preparation for scheduled production deployments so they can be quick deployed the night of deployment to

the various Salesforce orgs the team supports

• Experience developing using SQL, JavaScript, REST and SOAP APIs, HTML, and XML
• Tools experience to include GITHUB, Bitbucket, Visual Studio (VS), and Jenkins is desired as well
