The RVP Sales, Tableau CRM will be responsible for driving sales growth for Tableau CRM across all of the APJ region. This executive will be a leader of a growing sales organization of Account Executives and a Regional Vice President to help drive complex enterprise transactions. As a Tableau CRM RVP, you will sell the smartest analytics suite for every business user. Tableau CRM combines dynamic, interactive data visualizations with the power of machine learning to deliver insights and data-driven applications for every business user. The Tableau CRM RVP will define strategies for growing revenue, identify enterprise-wide opportunities, and successfully manage at both the strategic and operational level.

  • Set and execute an aggressive customer acquisition strategy to generate strong annual growth in revenue and bookings
  • Maintain key customer relationships and develop and implement strategies for expanding Tableau’s customer base
  • Manage the sales team to drive and close strategic/complex deals in the APJ region
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting
  • Manage overall sales process, setting appropriate metrics for sales funnel management
  • Plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels
  • Establish trusted relationships with key corporate teams, including existing Salesforce Account owners, industry marketing, product development, product management, and recruiting
  • Align and coordinate product, customer success, and services teams to deliver incredible success for our customers


Who you are…

  • 5+ years of experience as a sales manager, preferably with 2nd line leadership experience, leading teams in strategic sales
  • Consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals
  • Proven track record of building satisfied, loyal, and referenceable customers
  • Proven success working within a highly matrixed organization and establishing strong relationships across all functions
  • Experience leading comprehensive pipeline generation strategy and execution
  • Strong operational and analytical abilities
  • Strategic enterprise sales experience and revenue achievement selling complex enterprise software offerings primarily at the C-level
  • Strong track record of recruiting, developing and retaining a high performing enterprise sales organization
  • Experience in the Analytics preferred
  • Experience selling cloud based solutions preferred
