Overview:As our Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer, you will have the opportunity to work with one of the world’s largest technology platform providers to help drive a global transformation for a worldwide leader in the human resources services industry. Our technology partner, the Salesforce platform, will become an integral and critical enabler of new offerings, processes and ways of working. The implementation is global in scale and requires a time commitment and immersion within the Salesforce team commensurate with its impact. In this role, you will be placed fulltime within Salesforces’ program team, fully dedicated for at least a year. You will interface with the platform’s tech and services teams as well as the ultimate client (the HR services company). It is critical that we show up and perform as a seamless and integrated team, so in addition to being part of Ogilvy, you will be enabled with Salesforce technology, tools, and processes. Additionally, you will be supported by an Ogilvy project manager and account lead who will ensure you remain connected to the overall Ogilvy team deployed on this initiative.Responsibilities:In This Role, You Will:

  • Participate in the execution of a complex Journey setup and development of trigger-based campaigns
  • Create, design and implement marketing campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and ensure Salesforce development and testing procedures are followed
  • Create emails in Email Studio, automate processes in Automation Studio, create effective Journeys in Journey Builder, and build lists and data extensions in Contact and Audience Builder.
  • Perform QA and render checks in all mail domains and apply code fixes to incorrectly rendered images/emails and dynamic content.
  • Have experience with dynamic content and personalization in Emails using expertise and consultation in HTML code, AMP Script code, and CSS
  • Load / import records into Data Extension by using SQL
  • Validate the data and create audience segments for campaigns as per specified requirements
  • Gather requirements from the client for campaign creation. Analyse the requirements and seek clarifications for any incomplete or vague requests
  • Create required documentation for all campaigns or journeys including QA checklistsQualifications:
What You Bring To This Role:
  • Experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud application
  • Experience in Automation Studio, Database management and custom dev journey components
  • Knowledge and working experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Amp Script, SSJS,
  • Certification as Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist would be an added advantage
  • Able to work with a sense of urgency as needed
  • Adaptive and comfortable with ambiguity and lack of external structure
  • Solution-oriented problem solver who doesn’t mind rolling up your sleeves to get the work done
  • Able to work both autonomously and collaboratively
