Senior Salesforce Developer - REMOTE

TITLE: Salesforce Developer
Location: Remote
Compensation Range : $ 80-100/hour

An ICS client is looking for a contract to hire, Senior Salesforce Developer to help them go live in the next couple months. You will work hand in hand with their implementation partner to deliver an MVP, then work to deploy additional features throughout 2023.

Candidates must have strong Lightning Web Components and Field Service Lightning experience. You will come from a strong development background.

This Salesforce Developer position provides design and architecture, as well as development and coding duties with the Salesforce.com environment meeting business needs. Design, architecture, and development of the Salesforce platform that will include use of Salesforce.com, Visualforce, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Javascript, and SQL Server.

Responsibilities:

• Develop Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Components, and Visualforce to extend Salesforce in order to support business requirements
• Application development, including basic Visualforce pages/Lightning pages, Lightning Web Components, Assist with each release cycle to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code
• Working with integrated applications such as 8x8, Acumatica, PowerBI
• Testing (unit and systems), and debugging
• Best in class coding practices and data quality
• Creation of technical specifications, design documents
• Data conversion from source systems
• Salesforce Administration (Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Workflow, Process Builder, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards and reports)

Required:

• Salesforce product knowledge and at least 5 years of Salesforce development experience
• Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I
• Experience with multiple SDLCs (Agile, Waterfall)
• Changing, running and continuous improvement of Salesforce
• Delivering change work packages in time and as per acceptable quality standards
• Experience implementing and developing in Apex, Visualforce, and Javascript
• A proactive attitude to Salesforce enhancements
• Self-starter, possessing the ability to work independently, multi-task, and stay organized with prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.

Desired Skills:

• Certified Salesforce Platform Developer II,
• Additional Salesforce certifications e.g. Certified Salesforce Administrator, Certified Javascript Developer
• Bachelor's/Postgraduate degree, a professional qualification, or equivalent experience
• Competency in HTML, XML, Flex, ASP, SQL, Java or C++, REST and SOAP-based web services
• Familiarity with developing on other cloud platforms, such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services
• Contribution to open-source projects, or personal projects in a good state of development
• Demonstrates continued personal/professional development
• Active in the Salesforce community (Trailhead Badges)
