We are looking for a Director, Salesforce Engineering (f/m/d) to join our Vendor Relationship Management salesforce team, part of Global Sales & Revenue initiative at Delivery Hero. The Salesforce platform is being used by ~15k users from 50+ countries as a strategic system to deliver validated vendor data through automated business and operational processes such as eKYB, CPQ, Sales Pipeline, Digital Contract Lifecycle, Onboarding and Master Data Management. Our task is to understand and translate strategic business needs into lightning platform based solutions. As a Director, Salesforce Engineering, you will be working on Sales Cloud and Community Clouds to design and implement lightning platform based solutions. Work with 100+ engineers to create distinctive solutions, leveraging the full power of the platform at Delivery Hero. You will have responsibility for the architecture, design, rollout and operation model for the salesforce instance that hosts vendor relationship management.

Your Mission:

  • Deeply understand the business processes and participate in defining the roadmap for salesforce teams responsible for vendor relationship management across the globe

  • Drive both quarterly and long-term objectives and key results with full responsibility for executing the OKRs

  • Lead, support and mentor engineering managers to grow and be more effective leaders

  • Scale our recruitment efforts and define the criteria for sourcing talented candidates

  • Champion best engineering practices, be a pragmatic voice showing where to invest engineering effort where it can best move the needle

  • Strong design, architecture, and problem solving skills

  • Knowledge of salesforce engineering best practices including coding standards, reviews, source control management, CI/CD processes, testing, and system administration

Your heroic skills:

  • Experience with managing managers and multiple teams simultaneously

  • An engineering background, being able to evaluate complex technical decisions and

  • Identify potential technical problems and suggest solutions

  • Coaching, mentoring and setting people up for success

  • Understanding of system and data integration architecture

  • Experience in working with DevOps and Agile methodologies

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion

  • Salesforce certifications desired - Salesforce Certified Application & Technical Architect
