Your Role and Responsibilities
The IBM Client Innovation Center Lansing is expanding and has immediate opportunities for experienced forward-thinking Salesforce Technical Architect with a passion for growth and innovation. Come to IBM and make a global impact! The Salesforce Technical Architect will work directly with our clients to provide advanced technical services to our clients. The problems we solve are varied across industry, technology, and complexity. In this Salesforce TA role, you will make an immediate impact by performing the following functions:

• Effectively collaborates with business consultants, project team and client resources to determine technical and functional requirements
• Provides advanced technical and/or business consultative services during both the pre-sales and post sales cycles
• Designs and develops customer solutions in Lightning, VisualForce, Apex, D/HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX and other technologies
• Effectively facilitates Technical Process Review sessions and technical UAT’s
• Gathers data migration requirements, analyzes data quality requirements, defines a data quality migration plan and executes the plan

Candidates must have the ability to work in the United States without a current or future need for visa sponsorship.

The successful candidates for this position will become members of our extended Client Innovation Team. You will work closely across the CIC network to delight our customers with leading edge solutions with a keen focus on quality and client satisfaction. In addition to strong collaboration across the team, you will be virtually integrated into our deep learning and knowledge program as well as employee engagement across NA. All resources in our CIC network may be requested to travel depending on specific client project needs. US Travel is typically related to knowledge transfer and client relationship building at the client site, as well as subsequent travel for key milestones or project initiatives. Travel is generally no more than 50% of the time. Preferred locations include: Bloomington & Peoria IL; Fort Wayne, South Bend & Indianapolis IN, Toledo, Columbus & Cincinnati OH and Madison & Milwaukee WI

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 3 - 5+ years of consulting experience
• Experience solutioning on the Saleforce Platform
• 3 years experience with Field Service Lightning or equivalent Field Service technology
• Comprehensive knowledge of software, application, and platforms
• Strong business processes, process documentation and process improvement skills, as well as the ability to explain complex technical issues in a way that non-technical people may understand

Prefer one or more of the following Salesforce certifications:
Salesforce Certified Administrator
Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator
Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder
Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant
Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant
