About the Role:

We are looking for a high-energy, sales professional with sound business acumen, strong technical aptitude and natural sales instincts to join the.Org arm of Salesforce organisation. This particular role will be covering the ANZ market.

Ideal candidates should be eager to advance in our organisation by demonstrating their ability to be tenacious self-starters every day. As a Business Development Representative you will act as part of a Regional Sales Team hunting new business within specific NFP and Education territories.

What’s in it for You:

  • The opportunity to generate new business opportunities to fuel our growth

  • Create and prioritise strategic target account lists within a defined territory

  • Create a great first impression to our prospects and customers by providing them with an extraordinary experience

  • Partner with our experienced Account Executives to help fill their pipeline and develop your skills

  • Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications designed to increase customer interest in salesforce.com products

  • Research and build new and existing accounts (i.e. adding contacts, sending emails, strategic calling)

  • Conduct high-level conversations with senior executives in prospect accounts

  • Evangelise salesforce.com and the on-demand model

Achieve monthly quotas of qualified opportunities and closed business

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Full working rights within Australia

  • A desire or interest in selling in the NFP or Education sector

  • Experience with the ANZ market

  • 2 - 4 years of full-time corporate experience

  • “Tech savvy” - have a pure interest in tech and able to navigate around technology with ease

  • Consistent record of success

  • Experience being held to KPIs/Targets and overachieving on them

  • Resliance and "Grit"

  • Hunter motivation and mentality and a self-starting attitude

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment

  • Ability to understand customer needs and meet that need with a successful product sale

  • Ability to multi-task, take initiative, prioritise, and manage time optimally

  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CRM experience preferred

  • Sales experience a plus

  • Enterprise prospecting experience a plus

  • Experience selling into NFPs or the Education sector
