Job Title:

Salesforce Administrator

Role Overview:

This role will join our Marketing Operations Team, reporting to our Director of Marketing Operations, and will also collaborate closely with other stakeholders across our marketing, sales and IT departments. The perfect candidate for this role will be a certified Salesforce Administrator and can identify, develop, and deploy new business processes. This role is part technical project manager, part administrator, part Salesforce analyst. Houston and Plano, TX desirable, but not essential.

What you will do:

  • Responsible for adding and managing new users, including monitoring user roles, profiles, and permissions as well as sharing rules, workflows, and groups.

  • Maintain database for integrity and accuracy including cleansing and duplicate record management.

  • Manage the user experience and setup of user interfaces, including fields, custom objects, record types, and page layouts.

  • Create reports and dashboards in response to business needs.

  • Implement processes to advance data quality, including validations, assignment rules, duplicate entry checks, workflows, etc.

  • Import leads, contacts, and other data as needed.

  • Provide periodic training and support to staff.

  • Document processes, including error reports and changes to field history tables.

  • Ensure internal systems provide real time data, are user friendly, capture all required data, and are used consistently.

  • Thrive on building and delivering “Customer first” capabilities with a focus on iteration, efficiency, and scalability.

  • Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, relationship-building skills conducive to collaboration.

  • Assist in the design, develop, test, document and deploy high quality business solutions on the Salesforce.com (SFDC) platform based on industry best practices as well as business needs.

  • Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades.

  • Assist with the implementation of new processes and procedures.

  • Gather requirements for improvements to the Salesforce software application.

  • Optimize operational processes and procedures for maximum efficiency, while maintaining quality standards.

About You:

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.

  • Salesforce certified administrator.

  • 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce administrator.

  • Experience with Salesforce data management, including creating and updating fields, page layouts, custom objects, reports.

  • Experience with marketing and sales automation a plus.

  • Strong analytical skills and proven ability to analyze and summarize large volumes of information.

  • Ability to communicate technical and complex concepts clearly and persuasively.

  • Experience successfully managing complex situations and multiple responsibilities simultaneously, juggling long-term projects with urgent and immediate demands.

  • Ability to work with little direction and be a self-starter.

  • Knowledge of Salesforce Integration and implementations is a plus.

  • Ability to analyze and improve processes.
