Overview:As our Salesforce Sales Cloud Developer, you will have the opportunity to work with one of the world’s largest technology platform providers to help drive a global transformation initiative for a worldwide leader in the human resources services industry. The transformation is designed to shape the future of work, slated to impact the work lives of 500M people worldwide by 2030. Our technology partner, the Salesforce platform, will become an integral and critical enabler of new offerings, processes and ways of working. The implementation is global in scale and requires a time commitment and immersion within the Salesforce team commensurate with its impact. In this role, you will be placed fulltime within Salesforces’ program team, fully dedicated for at least a year. You will interface with the platform’s tech and services teams as well as the ultimate client (the HR services company). It is critical that we show up and perform as a seamless and integrated team, so in addition to being part of Ogilvy, you will be enabled with Salesforce technology, tools, and processes. Additionally, you will be supported by an Ogilvy project manager and account lead who will ensure you remain connected to the overall Ogilvy team deployed on this initiative.
A Bit More About This Role:

You will be an essential part of a team of developers and also design and build custom elements of a Salesforce CRM system. You will help solution and support team members to deliver the complete product to our customer, and deliver acute technical excellence by way of advisory services, consulting and hands-on execution, across Sales Cloud tools. You will develop code that is clean, understandable, maintainable and ensure technical solutions enable, satisfy, and advance our client’s needs and objectives whilst adhering to the highest technical and security standards.Responsibilities:In This Role, You Will:

  • Build solutions on the Force.com platform using Apex and Visual Force
  • Help to lead development initiatives and resources and review design, implementation, and testing plans
  • Collaborate with architect and other team members to provide the overarching systems design and systems architecture for all Salesforce CRM applications
  • Develop integration processes using Salesforce.com’s Web Services API and third-party integration tools
  • Execute data transformation and migration processes for customers using tools such as SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and Apex Data Loader
  • Investigate and plan the adoption of new technologies and integrations: Sales(primary), Service, Community, Marketing Clouds, etc.
  • Work with partners and customers to communicate the technical aspects of the product and develop solutions for their particular needs
  • Actively participate in all aspects of the development process
  • Work closely with Operations Engineering to ensure tight alignment between systems architecture, applications, deployment pipelines, security initiatives, and underlying platform architecture.
  • Commit to proper automated test coverage (unit, integration, automated UI, etc.)
  • Create impact assessments of new requirements on existing functionality
  • Responsible for providing detailed documentation
  • Act as a key Subject Matter Expert in a production on-call role for priority escalationsQualifications:
What You Bring To This Role:


  • Expert expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud
  • Salesforce Administrator and Salesforce Sales Cloud certifications preferred
  • Experience with Bullhorn or other Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and integrating platforms with Salesforce( is a must)
  • Managerial experience leading a team of developers
  • Strong development experience with Lightning Web Components, Lightning Aura Components, JavaScript for Lightning, Controllers, Apex etc.
    Able to work with a sense of urgency as needed
  • Adaptive and comfortable with ambiguity and lack of external structure
  • Solution-oriented problem solver who doesn’t mind rolling up your sleeves to get the work done
  • Able to work both autonomously and collaboratively
