How You’ll Make An Impact
The Salesforce Specialist is responsible for supporting the configuration, maintenance,
and optimization of KCRW’s Salesforce implementation and its connection with other
integrated software (Hubspot, ACD, Stripe, Shopify, KCRW join page, etc.). They will
understand the internal team needs and help us evolve our technology to meet these
needs. The Salesforce Specialist will work to maximize efficiency and provide the most
current data and analytics to the Membership and Development teams. They will
manage ongoing operations tasks and systems maintenance, often balancing multiple
projects and competing deadlines.
This position reports to the Salesforce Administrator. This is a full-time, non-exempt
position.
Here’s What You’ll Do:
- CRM maintenance and optimization, evaluating its effectiveness in serving our
needs. Maintain a streamlined system that leverages latest functionality and can
perform well at scale. Support implementations and system configurations
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and uniformity through regular audits,
monitoring of constituent data, data cleansing, and de-duplication
- Manage data requests. This includes creating and maintaining reports and
dashboards; exporting constituent information/lists for email communications,
mailings, and others upon request; and utilizing Excel to manipulate, analyze,
and visualize large datasets
- Be the team’s expert in all components of the CRM and serve as main point of
contact for questions or issues that arise with Salesforce. Implement short-term
fixes to issues to enable business processes to run, while working with the team
to determine a long-term fix
- Train staff and volunteers to use Salesforce and be responsible for maintaining a
written training manual
- Assess additional needs and identify opportunities to streamline department
processes and procedures related to the CRM. Critically evaluate information
gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, deconstruct high-level
information into details, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true
needs
- Manage partner relationships with external vendors (including our fulfillment
house, donor call center, and lockbox)
- Perform additional tasks as required or assigned
Here’s What You’ll Bring:
- 2-3 years of progressively responsible experience working with a CRM and at
least 1 year of data-driven reporting analytics. Non-profit fundraising experience
preferred
- Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality, preferably
with NPSP
- Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Strong project management skills, experience with Monday.com preferable
- Commitment to continuous improvement and ability to quickly learn new systems
& processes
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication with the ability to build
positive relationships easily and with authenticity at all levels of the organization
- Proactive, analytical, and can problem-solve quickly and creatively
