Essential Role and Responsibilities
The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for leading ongoing development. The administrator will work closely with functional leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts to identify develop and deploy new business processes. Responsible for the executing on the day to day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement our platform.
Essential Duties
- Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks
- Supports new and existing Salesforce user base with questions and issues across all clouds.
- Maintains, prioritizes and reports on user request backlog.
- Works with internal customers to gather requirements and implement configuration changes; including definition of workflow and approval processes and custom object implementation.
- Develops and maintains training materials and training curriculum for all users.
- Documents system configuration and administrative processes
- Keeps abreast of Salesforce releases, features and best practices.
- Makes recommendations to management regarding implementation and change management.
- Provides information around best practices in the CRM business process.
- Maps out client business processes current state and help to generate future state.
- Performs quality assurance testing as needed.
- Supports data migration activities.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
EXPERIENCE
- Posts-Secondary education in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent training/experience.
- 2+ years of supporting experience of enterprise systems including CRM, SFA, or ERP.
- Proven technical acumen to translate business requirements into functional design.
- Excellent listening skills to fully understand requirements and pain points.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to think critically and analytically while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven advanced Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, data cleansing and data manipulation).

- Salesforce Administrator Certification(s) - Preferred

- Communication skills - able to communicate in a clear, articulate, and professional manner on a daily basis via written and oral communications with customer contracting representatives, Silotech employees, and subcontract/teaming partner contracting organizations.

- Problem-solving skills – able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information skillfully; able to apply independent judgment on a regular basis in making decisions.
- Time Management skills – able to use time effectively in a semi-supervised fashion, pursuing other activities when regular duties have reduced in volume; able to complete projects in a timely manner. Will work with occasional supervision over repetitive tasks. New duties or project type tasks may receive “strict” or “direct” supervision, depending upon the nature of the task(s).
