Position:



As the Salesforce Product Owner, you will be a creative and innovative thinker, being part of a team driving efficiency and innovation across the business and supporting Bionic’s strategy and vision to optimise the effectiveness of Salesforce within our overall technology platform.

You will thrive on data and business analysis, providing key business insights based on analysing multiple data sources. You will take initiative to identify what the business should be tracking and evaluating and will be able to think through problems and make actionable recommendations. You will work with colleagues across Technology, Operations, Development, Change Management and Business Intelligence and support stakeholders in teams such as Sales, Marketing and Customer Service.

Your business process focus will make you a key player in shaping and developing not only Salesforce solutions but products using data coming out of Salesforce. It will be your responsibility to own the successful development and delivery of new customer features, system enhancements and bug fixes to ensure every solution is fit for purpose and delivers the optimal customer experience.



Requirements:



Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership, manage and develop business processes within Salesforce, often working on and leading multiple key projects at any one time.
  • Work closely with the Product Manager and the rest of the Salesforce team to prioritise workload appropriately and provide updates.
  • Adopt Agile development approach from requirements gathering and testing to release and roll out
  • Creation of user stories from high level requirements / problem statements.
  • Manage product backlog, and development life cycle ensuring priorities are aligned to business value.
  • Maintain the associated documentation for projects including Business Process Maps, Functional Specification documentation, User Acceptance stories, Decision logs etc.
  • Attend project meetings and facilitate workshops with Key Stakeholders understanding needs, managing expectations, and ensuring outputs are accurate and deliver benefit.
  • Proactively develop own knowledge of system capabilities (e.g. new release features) and propose areas for development to promote the business's principles and foster a collaborative approach to solution delivery and engagement.
  • Special projects as required.
Desired Skills and Experience

  • ADM201 Salesforce Administrator Certificate is essential, Sales or Service Cloud certification is desirable
  • Hands-on Salesforce experience with:Sales/Service Cloud Pardot, Community, and Maps Integrated telephony and electronic document/signature tools
  • Experience with lifecycle in an agile / scrum environment
  • 2 years’ minimum experience in a Business Analyst / Product Owner role for a B2B Sales focussed business
  • Strong experience working in a highly collaborative, dynamic, and team-oriented work environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including: ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with team members, internal customers, high-level staff and external vendors, strong customer service orientation, good writing skills, ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical audiences
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point and Visio.
  • Experience leveraging and configuring AppExchange products and integrations to develop a solution.
  • In-depth understanding of the capabilities and constraints of the Salesforce platform.
