The Role: Salesforce Product Owner

The Location: New York
The Team: The Salesforce Product Owner is an integral part of the SFDC Platts product team who is responsible for driving operational efficiency for all business stakeholders. This position will be working within the agile framework to prioritize, plan and oversee the delivery of strategic initiatives, in order to enhance the value of the SFDC platform.
The Impact: The Product Owner will ensure that maximum business value is consistently reflected in a well maintained backlog that reflects prioritization based on the key business drivers of improving operational efficiency, increasing revenue and maximizing customer engagement.
Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $74,400 to $228,700. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.

Responsibilities:
Assisting in defining, developing, and implementing the Salesforce strategic roadmap and the releases of features
Identify customer needs, take detailed business requirements from global SFDC Platts stakeholders and provide guidance on business processes to the team
Write user stories, own and prioritize the backlog and translate business needs into technical requirements for the scrum team
Assist in managing the scrum team and sprint planning/execution, working closely with the scrum master
Leading the scrum team to deliver essential tools for Commercial users, while the CRM-E team focuses on Mercury related enhancements and defects handed over by Deloitte and Zuora
Communicate with stakeholders regarding the product roadmap, timelines and status of requests
Prioritize and create user stories for all non-Mercury prioritized projects such as Pricing & Packaging, Account Management, Einstein and RigData integration
Working closely with Salesforce Field Support to communicate enhancements and defect fixes with end users
Working with other Platts scrum team/product owner to ensure consistency in deployment
Ensure backlog prioritization is aligned with Commercial roadmap and strategies
Keep abreast of Salesforce's capabilities and evangelize their adoption for stakeholders
Ensure alignment amongst all impacted business teams for each request taken
Primary point of contact for business stakeholders on requirements not connected to Zuora/Oracle
Enforce the impact score to better articulate value delivered to business stakeholders – lean thinking
Take initiative on discovering new tools for commercial users and taking the lead in their implementation
What We’re Looking For:
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years working as a SFDC product owner/manager using agile methodology
Excellent attention to detail with great time management skills
Strong problem solving skills with an innate curiosity and desire to question the status quo
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across departments
Ability to lead and motivate the scrum team to deliver high value features
Excellent cross-group collaboration skills, including conflict resolution and negotiation skills
Salesforce Admin Certificate preferred
