We are looking for a self-starting, team-oriented, passionate product marketer to lead positioning, messaging, and marketing execution for Pardot / Salesforce B2B Marketing [part of Salesforce Marketing Cloud]. Candidates will have a passion for taking the complex and making it simple, and for marketing through compelling stories. This PMM works across teams, focusing on diving into the market to develop subject matter expertise, understanding the B2B marketing / Demand Generation buyer persona, building compelling product and solution narratives, and developing assets and collateral to support the content plan, marketing campaign, events, and website.
Key Responsibilities and Impact:
Own and lead Pardot / Salesforce B2B Marketing [Salesforce Marketing Cloud] product positioning & differentiated solution messaging by partnering closely with Salesforce Marketing Cloud PMM leadership.
Develop, deliver, and maintain high-impact core content and presentations, including the product positioning document, first call deck, event presentations, keynotes, cross-cloud and cross-product narrative in a thoughtful and compelling way with consistency across all mediums. Work with GTM and cross-functional team to develop repeatable sales tools such as collateral, presentations, case studies, etc. Evangelize our product and deliver presentations at internal and external events, analysts briefings, and to partner communities.
Identify market needs and requirements and collaborate with Product Management and other internal stakeholders to bring new products/features to market. Align with Product Management and Solution Engineering team on release marketing and enablement. Drive feature naming, messaging, and rollout communications for new product capabilities.
Own the production and delivery of compelling stories that are told through demos of our products and solutions, targeted at the CMO, Demand Generation Marketing leaders, and Sales leaders.
Serve as a subject matter expert to the sales team on our product, solutions, and value proposition. Work hand-in-hand with our Creative, Campaigns, and Content teams as the subject matter expert on all things Pardot / Salesforce B2B Marketing, guiding how we build targeted campaigns & content & events.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years experience in product marketing at a high tech company, or similar. MBA a plus, but not required.
- Demonstrated ability in launching and growing innovative products, preferably with familiarity of the cloud/SaaS, CRM and marketing automation.
- Proven track record of crafting compelling product positioning and solution narrative content.
- Dynamic, confident personality with ability to successfully define and drive project execution with minimal guidance amidst multiple priorities and goals.
- Extraordinary written communication skills: able to consolidate sophisticated ideas into clear, succinct executive summaries.
- Highly adaptable style and marked executive presence.
- Customer-focused and able to build alignment cross-functionally.
- Hands-on ability to create a range of product marketing assets, including viral on-message product demo videos and succinct slide pitch-decks.
- Proven track record of launching and growing hit products.
- Exceptional team player with proven ability to lead through influence in a matrix organization.
- Proven track record of performing well in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines effectively.
