Under minimal supervision, the Senior Salesforce Business Systems Analyst, will be part of the IT team scoping, designing and delivering technology solutions that optimize and enable our Salesforce platform and support our business organizations involved in the Quote to Cash process. Our current primary platform is Salesforce, but we are always evaluating new technologies in the space for Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Configure Price Quote (CPQ), and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM).

Specific Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support the relationship with the Legal, Customer Service, Pricing, and finance, utilizing proactive account management strategies, and develop strong business relationships
  • Strong knowledge of Quote to Cash Process
  • Ideally experience with field inventory management around consignment and rep owned inventory
  • Responsible for day to day administration of Salesforce.com and all other CRM, CPQ, CLM platforms.
  • Design, document, configure, test and deploy solutions to business problems within SalesForce.com and any other tools in the CRM, CPQ, CLM, field inventory management processes.
  • Work with the team on new projects, from initial interaction with clients during the requirements discovery phase through implementation and deployment of the completed project
  • Using your technical expertise of Salesforce.com you will be responsible for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to build a customized solution that meets the dynamic business needs
  • Assist with the management of outsourced Salesforce.com implementation partners
  • Drive the technical culture forward as a thought leader among our team by keeping abreast of new SalesForce.com features and functionality enhancements
  • Recommend best practices around new and existing Salesforce.com features
  • Create accurate progress estimates based on business and/or technical requirements
  • Comply with quality system regulations, standards, and procedures.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications
  • Minimum education and experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with a minimum of 10 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Additional qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in Salesforce configuration
  • Scrum Agile certification a plus
  • PMP certification a plus
  • Good understanding of data structures, Apex classes, Visualforce Pages, SQL/SOQL, JavaScript, jQuery, RESTful JSON, Backbone, Handlebars, browser-based DOM manipulation, Custom UI (Bootstrap) and Salesforce Lightning*
  • A keen interest in emerging technologies and how they might impact future design decisions and strategic directions
  • Ability to exercise discretion and good judgment with confidential and sensitive information
  • Knowledge of interactions with an enterprise ERP as well as making use of third-party web services
  • Experience with production launch readiness and cloud-based deployment models*
  • Experience building Custom Fields and Objects*
  • Experience with Process Builder, Floes, approval processes and validations*
  • Exposure to Integration Tools such as Mulesoft or Boomi*
  • Exposure to BI Applications such as Tableau, Salesforce Einstein Analytics
  • Hands on experience in administering Salesforce for User Access, custom objects, permission sets, field level security, workflow, process builder
