Essential Functions
- Participate in consultative discussions with our business partners on goals and challenges.
- Configure, test, and deploy marketing automation campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Build out customer lifecycle journeys and email campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud including automated and triggered campaigns.
- Execute personalization and extensive audience segmentation within Salesforce Marketing Cloud utilizing SQL to deliver personalized content and experiences.
- Monitor technical performance of assets and test/troubleshoot.
- Provide product and subject matter expertise to internal teams.
- Estimate effort required to implement proposed solutions.
- Build and maintain solution related documentation.
- Work closely with database marketing strategist to analyze data and performance.
- Constantly explore, recommend, use and optimize Salesforce Marketing Cloud features and functionality to align with business objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on new ideas and directions for digital marketing.
- Advise and consult on email marketing best practices to build successful. campaigns that engage our key audiences and provoke desired actions.
Job Specifications:
- 4+ years of extensive, hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, deploying marketing automation campaigns for real world marketing initiatives.
- 4+ years of marketing related experience
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Certification: Consultant or Developer.
- Experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud data structure and functionality.
- JavaScript and SSJS experience as related to Marketing Cloud.
- Solid understanding of web technologies including HTML, SQL queries and AMPScript.
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, MC Advertising, Web Studio, Analytics Builder and Einstein; along with Google Analytics and data performance dashboards.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field required, master’s degree in marketing or a related field preferred.
- Able to balance multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of global email compliance regulations and requirements.
- Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines while demonstrating flexibility and the ability to organize and perform multiple tasks efficiently.
- Detail-oriented, superior organizational skills and well-versed in using project management tools.
- Demonstrated ability to create project plans with tasks and timelines, updating stakeholders along the way and coordinating project completion.
- Salesforce Sales and/or Service Cloud experience a plus, but not required.
