Salesforce Developer

The Challenge:

If an application had a behind-the-scenes superhero, it would be you. As a Software Sustainment Engineer, you are pivotal to an application’s day-to-day functional life. You help keep the lights on, troubleshoot and fix bugs, and make sure everything is running smoothly. On our team, you’ll do just that for our government clients and their legacy enterprise systems. You’ll also learn how to advise our clients and the ways in which we provide consultative guidance regarding how they might adopt new technologies or add new features to support the mission. We’re looking for someone like you to support the technology that transforms the Veterans Administration.

In this role, you’ll have an operational impact from day one. Supporting a team of experts, you’ll develop and maintain Salesforce applications. You’ll use programming and scripting languages, including Apex, to assist the team as they continuously enhance and maintain the application, troubleshoot any issues that arise operationally, and upgrade the system to meet security requirements. Most importantly, you’ll build your skills as we advise our government clients on the best ways to improve and modernize the existing systems. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

You Have:

• 4+ years of experience as a software engineer or software developer

• Experience with Salesforce platform development

• Knowledge of the Salesforce development lifecycle

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or HS Diploma or GED and a total of 6 years of experience as a software engineer or software developer

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with Veterans Affairs or other federal government agencies

• Experience with Healthcare IT

• Knowledge of release management principals

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies

• Knowledge of Git

• Platform Developer I and II Certifications

Applicants selected will be subject to a government investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements of the U.S. government client.

Compensation:

The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 65,000 to 115,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
