NEOGEN is seeking a Salesforce Business Analyst/Admin who will work as a member of the Global IT team to execute the setup and implementation of the Salesforce CRM platform (Sales & Service Cloud). This role will also be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and enhancing the platform. In this process, the team member is expected to understand the nuances of the existing CRM implementation globally for the company. The key outcome is a successful migration to the Salesforce CRM platform with clear insights into the selling process, pipelines and expected revenues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop a deep understanding of Neogen business processes and strategy through collaboration and regular engagement with key stakeholders and process owners
  • Gather and document systems and process requirements through meetings, workshops, site visits, and job shadowing; create and maintain documentation on Salesforce business processes
  • Serve as the liaison between the internal and external customers and the technical teams
  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, break high-level requirements into details, and distinguish user requests from underlying needs
  • Drive requirements, use cases, and prioritize the work. Manage the backlog and communicate to stakeholders with clarity, and transparency.
  • Drive sprint scope, sprint planning, and sprint workload
  • Analyze/document current and future business process models, high-level requirements (scope), and detailed functional specifications and/or stories; and communicate to the developers and extended team effectively
  • Collaborate with Salesforce technical team and SAP architects and business analysts to ensure end-to-end process integration and consistency
  • Understand non-Salesforce business systems, such as SAP, and their interaction with Salesforce
  • Advises on business requirements and solution options, bridging the gap between people, process, and technology
  • Support completion of incidents and enhancement requests and keep users up to date on status
  • Administer system maintenance and configuration, including user set up, roles, profiles, groups, security and permissions, workflows, and validation rules
  • Facilitate testing of new Salesforce functionality rollouts
  • Create training materials and conduct user training
  • Research, evaluate and recommend recent technologies to support the growth and strategic direction of the business
  • Perform new release evaluations and execute new functionality rollouts
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in in related field, with 2+ years of business analyst experience, and 3+ years Salesforce setup, configuration and implementation experience, or combination of related education and experience. Salesforce Administrator Certification required, and Sales Force App Builder Certification preferred
