 As a key member of AbleTo's Salesforce team, you will be responsible for developing, building, and configuring the services that power our products. You will work with our talented team of remote engineers, designers and product managers to continue to build out our Salesforce platform and interconnected applications. We are a team committed to agile value delivery and solid engineering principles, as well as continuously improving our craft.
 Responsibilities
  • Write clean, modular and efficient code across all layers of the stack.
  • Own major features from requirements definition to release.
  • Actively lead the design and/or refactoring of our Salesforce architecture.
  • Identify apex / visualforce quality issues and refactor code when appropriate.
  • Implement high-quality test-driven code that passes automated tests.
  • Optimize performance heavy parts of existing applications
  • Quickly evaluate new patterns / services using light coding spikes.
  • Provide design feedback in code reviews
  • Support Production systems off hours
  • Responsible for new development along with providing oversight of support for existing developed components.
Experience
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification
  • 5+ years hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer
  • 2+ years of experience working within an Agile project environment.
  • 5+ years implementing REST/SOAP Integrations (Exposing and consuming Salesforce APIs)
  • 5+ years implementing Salesforce security in Salesforce configuration / custom Apex, Visualforce, Triggers, Scheduled and Batch Classes.
  • 1+ years implementing Lightning & Aura Web Components
  • 3+ years developing web applications using CSS, HTML, and common javascript frameworks such as AngularJS, React etc.
  • 2+ years working with an automated CI/CD pipeline (GIT, VS Code, SFDX CLI) running multiple parallel environments
  • Strong understanding of all aspects of Salesforce Platform including Service Cloud, Communities, and Health Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data and governor limits (API, SOQL, Apex)
Competencies
  • Experience transforming complex business logic into clean reusable backend services.
  • Experience implementing new application architectural patterns and refactoring existing patterns.
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce declarative tools and ability determine when to use them instead of writing code.
  • Strong business analysis experience, including requirements gathering and deploying solutions to end users.
  • Graphical sense of design with an ability to take sketches and turn them into working UI.
  • Highly organized individual with great time management skills.
  • Ability to proactively communicate and collaborate across a growing distributed team.
Quality Control
  • Help define and manage overall quality objectives for release increments.
  • Develop behavior-driven feature files, acceptance test scenarios and step definitions.
  • Implement high-quality test-driven source code that passes automated tests.
  • Achieve and maintain team defined quality thresholds that mitigate solution risks.
  • Partner closely with internal scrum teams and business stakeholders.
  • Interface with business to understand real life usage, build test cases and bug tracking.
  • Execute Testing with complex org setup, varied data models.
  • Create, update, and execute test cases and test plans. Experience in UAT testing
  • Organize and drive cross product testing.
  • Monitor product and/or feature-level quality health metrics (testability, test health, test coverage, etc)
  • Log and manage all bugs from testing and work with both business groups and technical groups to make sure that all bugs are prioritized and resolved before going into production.
  • Write and implement all regression testing for functionality and stability.
