Position Summary:

As a Senior Software Engineer reporting into the Software Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in the design, development, and support of PearConnect, a Salesforce and Health Cloud based platform that connects patients to valuable digital therapy. You’ll be working with a team of talented Salesforce engineers making the PearConnect platform scalable to all of our patients, providers, and call center operators.

You have been at startups before and are comfortable with ambiguity and change. You can take user stories and large projects and work with other engineers to bring them to completion. You have the ability to explain technical solutions to other engineers and provide code review feedback. You are empathetic, engaged, and excited.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting as a contributor to Pear’s Salesforce implementation including new development and maintenance.
  • Developing and implementing technical solutions into Salesforce
  • Designing custom solutions to meet Pear’s business needs
  • Developing integrations between Salesforce and external systems
  • Working together with product management, dev ops, QA, security, and regulatory teams
  • Being a technical leader for other software engineers on the team by providing code review feedback and explaining technical solutions

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience developing production software
  • Experience developing integrations, batch jobs, and triggers using Apex
  • Experience with front end development and javascript using lightning web components or aura components
  • Experience with service cloud or health cloud
  • Experience using git, Jira, and SFDX
  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce security model
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both technical and nontechnical audiences
  • Experience writing high quality unit tests
  • A desire to work in other programming languages
