Who we are . . .

As the leader of the CRM Operations Program Management team, you will be the face of the organization who helps cross functional partners get things done in Marketing at Nordstrom. Bridge the gap between the needs of the marketing business and the capabilities unlocked by Product, Analytics and Technology. As leader of the Program Management function within CRM Operations, you will be on point for intake across all teams looking to deploy a campaign via a marketing channel. This leader will support a team of 2+ technical program managers focused on maintaining an ongoing intake and prioritization process covering daily marketing execution tasks and special projects. In this role, you will be expected to partner closely with not only Marketing teams, but cross functional teams in Product & Technology to facilitate foundational support to get major projects across the finish line. A passion for marketing technology and helping partner teams accomplish their goals is key to the success of an individual in this role. CRM Operations is the engine of the Marketing organization at Nordstrom, and partners closely with Technology teams to keep that engine running.

This is a Remote hire opportunity that requires qualified candidates to be available to work Pacific Standard Time hours. Nordstrom is able to offer remote employment of this position in all US states except AR, MS, MT, NE, NH, ND, SD, VT, WV, and WY.

A Day in the Life . . .

  • Support intake and prioritization for all marketing channel execution across all JWN brands including Email (12 billion emails deployed annually), Direct Mail (catalog, and small direct) and digital platform owned data distribution
  • Manage transparency of team’s current workload and upcoming prioritized work against resources for key stakeholders and leadership

  • Shape and give input on technical program management skill set improvement paths to team of 2+ technical program managers

  • Manage E2E large scale projects & initiatives such as automating personalization of email, journey creation work, evolution of planning process and 4box audience management from an executional standpoint

  • Consult on and scope proposed analytics learning agenda support

  • Run point on process implementation supporting agility in marketing execution following the shifting needs of the business

  • Maintain intake process and prioritize requested book of work across all stakeholder teams

  • Assist non-technical partner teams in understanding existing capabilities and implications to requested campaign work as well as outcomes of prioritization decisions

  • Partner closely with Product & Technology teams to plug into their intake processes to drive cross functional execution of complex Marketing programs

  • Drive functionality unlocks for email, app push and direct mail by partnering with CRM Ops, cross functional teams, vendors and SFMC to understand capabilities and work needed to be prioritized to drive

  • Guide incident communication & resolution in partnership with Tech, Product and Marketing business stakeholders.

You own this if you have . . .

  • 5+ years experience in Marketing Operations, Technical Program Management, or similar technical field(s)

  • 3+ years experience leading work utilizing Salesforce Marketing cloud (preferred)

  • Strong consultative capability across functions ranging from technical to non-technical partners

  • Advanced understanding of program management best practices and tools

  • Hands on knowledge of end-to-end email channel execution processes including owned data & email development practices

  • Bachelor’s Degree in technical field (Analytics, Engineering, Economics, etc.) or equivalent experience.

  • Familiarity with customer journey orchestration across marketing channels

Colorado: $131,000 - $203,000 annually, Nevada: $131,000 - $203,000 annually, New York: $131,000 - $236,000 annually
