Business Analyst - Salesforce

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a Business Analyst - Salesforce in Boca Raton, FL.

Summary:
As a Business Analyst you will be responsible for effectively applying technology to support business priorities, including revenue and asset retention goals, streamlining, and automating business processes, satisfying regulatory requirements, and reducing operating costs. This opportunity requires working a hybrid onsite/remote work schedule, onsite 3 days in our Boca Raton, Florida, office, and 2 days remotely each week.

Duties Include:

• Business Analyst will serve as a liaison between the Office of Technology and business departments by translating high-level business requirements into detailed functional specifications for the programming staff; Includes participation in cross-functional teams to implement new systems applications
• Troubleshoot and identify system related production problems and coordinate the evaluation and implementation of system enhancements
• Function as the liaison between users and technical team throughout the product and project life cycle
• Analyze business technology requirements and specifications against value and risk of potential solutions
• Identify suitable technological solutions for the business
• Conduct cost-benefit and risk assessment analyses for proposed solutions to determine suitability of solutions
• Recommend proposed solutions and/or enhancements to improve and optimize processes, workflows, performance, and systems
• As a Business Analyst, you will manage risk associated with new solutions and/or proposed enhancements
• Work with the product owner and other stakeholders to identify requirements and priorities
• Escalate business decisions as required
• Act as a core team member within an Agile Scrum team in a product delivery model
• Translate business requirements and user needs into functional specifications
• Adjust priorities according to evolving business needs

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree is required; Finance and/or Information Systems degree preferred
• 3+ years of business analysis experience required; Financial Services and/or Web experience preferred
• Excellent oral and written communications skills for frequent interaction with end users and preparation of functional specifications and other written documents
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
• Team-player with the ability to work within a collaborative environment to reach consensus among business users
• Excellent interpersonal skills to develop and maintain sound working relationships
• Both a strong data and business acumen required
• Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities and tasks as delegated
• Creative and efficient in proposing solutions to complex, time-critical problems
• Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects and deadlines
• Proficient understanding of designing and delivering project portfolio level reporting
• Comfortable in working with large, multi-dimensional projects
• Experience in working within cross-divisional product teams
• Proficient in Microsoft Office product suite; Particularly with MS Project and Project Server, advanced with MS Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Database and SharePoint development and management is preferred
• Basic proficiency in Agile and Scale Agile Framework (SAFe) is preferred
• Basic proficiency with Atlassian's JIRA project management and Confluence collaboration software is preferred
• Experience with Salesforce is preferred
