Job summary:
The Red Hat IT team is looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer to join us. In this role, you will develop solutions as it relates to the Configure Price Quote (CPQ) and contract life cycle management (CLM) tools on the Salesforce.com (SFDC) platform. You should have the ability to understand the practical needs of the business and translate them into technical solutions focused on efficiency, scalability, and ease of use. As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you’ll work as part of a scrum team to complete configuration and development work, as well as define the end-to-end process implementation strategies. Ideally, you will have Salesforce integration experience and have a Salesforce developer certification.Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business.Primary job responsibilities:
  • Analyze, design, debug, and modify software enhancements or new products used as part of SFDC
  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests and wants from the underlying, true business needs
  • Be responsible for the new configuration and/or development system changes in SFDC and CPQ
  • Understand the data model related to SFDC and CPQ
  • Work as part of a scrum team as well as on your own with minimal supervision
  • Work with other Sales Cloud and Service Cloud team associates to build integrated solutions
  • Support and troubleshoot integration issuesRequired skills:
  • 5+ years of SFDC development experience
  • 2+ years of CPQ and CLM implementation experience
  • Extensive knowledge of product and service configuration, complex pricing rules, defining product bundle structure, constraint rules, and options
  • Experience with how to resolve SKU proliferation and define attribute-based product configuration
  • Knowledge of advance approval workflow along with configuration of email-based approval
  • Proficiency in designing various types of promotions and discounts
  • Knowledge of how to develop and deploy solutions
  • Comfortable building and demonstrating CPQ prototypes in SFDC
  • Knowledge of document and contract generation functionality and eSignature
  • Experience defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, and designing and prototyping, testing, and implementing practical business solutions
  • Ability to understand and troubleshoot implemented code
  • Ability to understand an implemented architecture and deliver on technical specifications
  • Ability to accurately scope, plan, and estimate the level of effort for tasks, with an appropriate balance of risk and effort
  • Good understanding of object-oriented technologies to develop software applications
  • Bachelor’s degree
The following are considered a plus:
  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning, Apex, and Visualforce
  • Apttus Quote-To-Cash certification
  • Salesforce Developer certification
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to show mature judgment
  • Advanced degree in the area of specialization
  • Experience implementing SFDC customer relationship management (CRM) capabilities
