The Salesforce Business Analyst provides Salesforce solutions in alignment with business processes, goals, and strategies. This role is responsible for evaluating business requirements and translating them into Salesforce solutions including technical design configuration, development, and implementation. Recommends best practice solutions and can identify when elements of a solution may require custom code development. The Salesforce Business Analyst will support and collaborate with the larger Salesforce Team on Salesforce initiatives and projects to ensure organizational strategic initiatives are completed

Job Description
Key Outcomes:
  • Conducts process review meetings with Business Owners to translate business requirements into small to medium sized projects to enable strategic imperatives for the specific lines of business
  • Leads the evaluation of functional and technical requirements
  • Writes comprehensive design and functional specifications to provide solutions to business needs
  • Performs Salesforce Configuration i.e. modifying the object model and record types, creating new Apps, complex formula fields and validation rules
  • Creates and maintains process automation through workflow rules, processes, and flows
  • Participates with the larger Salesforce team in project design, testing, and implementation of Salesforce enhancements and solutions
  • Estimates levels of effort for solutions specific to design, support, deployment of Salesforce
  • Manages third party applications that will integrate and support current Salesforce platform
  • Executes Salesforce deployments that align with the organizational needs.
  • Establishes strong alignment with business operations and strategic goals in order to better serve Users on the Salesforce platform
Education/Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience, required
  • 4+ years’ experience with Salesforce in the capacity of an Admin and/or Analyst, required
  • Participation and completion of badges in Trailhead, required
  • Experience using Apex Data Loader, required
  • Experience with an Agile methodology, a plus
  • Participation in Salesforce User Groups and/or Conferences, a plus
  • Experience with Person Accounts, a plus
