The Senior Salesforce Solution Architect will be responsible for providing overall mentorship regarding strategies and techniques for the Salesforce product solutions. Will be working with both Business and IT team members to detail and ensure product solutions support business needs, follow strong architectural principles, use system resources efficiently, and integrate cleanly with the user interface and server components of the Salesforce applications and technical architecture.
This job will be based in Maurens-Scopont, France, in Barcelona, Spain. Another location in Europe is possible as long as you are prepared to travel on a frequently basis to our head office in Maurens-Scopont or to our office in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Interact with end users and super users in the Commercial Operations organization (Marketing, Sales, Sales Operations, Customer Care) to understand their business requirements
Develop solution proposal to address requirements based on standard or customized functionality in the Salesforce application
For approved projects/enhancements, manage the delivery through all stages: detail design, development, test, user acceptance testing and promotion to production, following Cepheid’s policies and procedures.
Work with/ manage offshore resources for projects/enhancements when required
Communicate with other Salesforce administrators and developers to ensure solutions proposed are aligned with global templates or differences understood and approved
Provide system administration support for all Cepheid’s Salesforce.com instance
The essential requirements of the job include:
You hold a Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of related work experience or a Master’s degree in field with 6+ years of related work experience (software development and 5+ years of Salesforce application development)
Self-motivated and creative
Proficiency with Apex, Visual Force and JavaScript
Good understanding of Salesforce Platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Einstein Analytics and Community Cloud
Verbal and written proficiency in English
Sales force CPQ implementation and support experience
Salesforce Developer Certification, Salesforce Administrator Certification
Experience developing customer-facing user interfaces
It would be a plus if you also are:
