Enterprise owner and champion of Salesforce CRM. This dynamic role is part Salesforce administrator, part business analyst, and part project manager. Position Salesforce as the powerful tool it’s intended to be for Sterling, maximizing efficiency and productivity by capitalizing on the systems’ full features and benefits.

  • Administrator – Maintain Salesforce on an everyday basis, ensuring it functions as expected. Oversee daily tasks/jobs, maintenance, clean-up, integrations, and problem resolution. Provide training and user support.
  • Business Analyst - Work cross-functionally, leading exploratory discussions and requirement gathering sessions with multiple business groups. Interact closely with functional leaders and business groups to identify, develop, and deploy new business processes.
  • Project Manager – Shepherd the implementation of new processes, data, and/or integrated software. Guide projects successfully, achieving deadlines and results, and organizing the relevant people/groups along the way

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Create, Build, and Maintain

  • Create, utilize and maintain custom objects, fields, validation rules, workflow rules, process flows, email alerts, views, reports, dashboards, and page layouts across firm
  • Oversee administration of new users, role and profile management, and general end user assistance
  • Ensure data integrity through ongoing data analysis, record maintenance, data uploads and related tasks
  • Manage system/software and data integrations and work to resolve any issues

Connect and Communicate

  • Connect frequently with internal stakeholders to understand current and future needs and plan/prepare for value add enhancements to Salesforce
  • Build business users trust and respect, establish relationships, and develop rapport
  • Communicate regularly with Salesforce users regarding new features, enhancements and changes
  • Document processes and workflows. Create manuals and reference material on a consistent basis

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 2 or more years as a Salesforce Administrator is the baseline.
  • Credentials and designations for Salesforce are expected.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality desired. A natural curiosity of technology and a desire to further your technical knowledge of Salesforce are critical.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills that can forge productive relationships with individuals of varying degrees of technical competency and organizational hierarchy.
  • Must be able to mediate different opinions and achieve shared outcomes.
  • Highly analytically minded and able to evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile different perspectives, break down complex topics into understandable pieces, and work out executable solutions.
  • Strategic thinker who can help our business and processes scale, not just put in short term fixes.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects on top of the everyday administration is required
