Hughes has an opportunity for a Salesforce Developer. This position will be located at our office in Germantown, MD.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a lead role in the design, development & modification of the applications, utilities, and database solutions necessary to support the functionality of the Salesforce.com (SFDC) platform within the organization.
- Employ subject matter expertise in the customization and optimization of the SFDC platform to conduct the application design and maintenance necessary to increase operational efficiency, resolve application issues, and meet new requirements.
- Develop the Workflows, Email Templates, Page Layouts, Validation rules, Reports & Dashboards required for internal operations with SFDC.
- Plan and execute the diagnosis and resolution of Salesforce solution implementation and installation issues from the initial roll through subsequent functional and maintenance software releases.
- Design Triggers, APEX Classes, Controller Classes and Visual Force Pages, with the necessary test classes. Design database queries using SOQL and SOSL to efficiently access underlying databases on the platform.
- Plan and implement the integration of on-premises application systems with the Salesforce platform using Single Sign On (SSO), ODATA and SOAP web services, CSS, HTML and jQuery.
- Apply knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud to research and provide solutions for application, database, or technical problems in the production environment.
Basic Requirements:
- Master’s degree in a Computer Science, Software Engineering or Computer Information Systems field
- 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a related software developer or computer programmer position.
- Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science, Software Engineering or Computer Information Systems field combined with five years progressive experience in the position will substitute for the Master’s and three years of such experience.
Special Requirements:
- 3 years of experience employing the Salesforce programming languages: Visualforce Pages/Components, Apex Classes, and Apex Triggers.
- 3 years of experience creating Salesforce related database queries and searches employing SOQL and SOSL.
- 3 years of Salesforce development experience employing the Force.com Integrated Development Environment
