Spring Venture Group is hiring for a Salesforce Developer! The Salesforce Developer role will be a department thought leader, helping to evaluate, streamline, and develop custom uses for our Salesforce-integrated applications. You will be a valuable resource — working with teams of engineers and stakeholders to enhance legacy and future-state solutions that make a real impact on our business outcomes.

Our ideal candidate shows initiative and is passionate for pushing the boundaries of software technologies to find original, inventive solutions for users to connect and interact with information. You will have a hands-on role in both developing and managing technology road maps, with the objective of strengthening or establishing company-wide systems and strategies.

What You’ll Do:

• 
  Understanding information needs by conferring with users, studying systems flow, data usage and work processes and investigating problem areas while following the software development lifecycle
• Determining operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development and proposed solutions
• Documenting and demonstrating solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code
• Improving operations by conducting systems analysis; recommending changes in policies and procedures
• Developing Salesforce solutions while demonstrating a proficiency with Force.com (including the capabilities and limitations of governor limits)
• Design and develop features leveraging Salesforce best practices.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

• 
  Bachelor’s degree in STEM or other related field OR equivalent relevant work OR military experience
• A minimum of 2 years developing with Salesforce or related certifications
• A minimum of 5 years in software engineering or development
• A thorough understanding of Salesforce configuration
• Experience with VisualForce
• Strong practical knowledge of Lightning, Salesforce configurations, Apex classes, Apex Triggers, Apex Web services, SOQL & SOSL, and APIs
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, Metadata APIs, Bulk APIs
• Data modeling and database schema using Standard and Custom objects
• Self-motivated individual that collaborates well with other technical and non-technical staff
• Strong troubleshooting skills
