Overview:
The Salesforce Systems Administrator is responsible to administer the physical and cloud infrastructure at the Shingo Institute, a program of the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
  • Work with the Operations Director to prioritize IT work that is most impactful to the priorities of the Institute
  • Maintain and improve the Institute’s Salesforce.com instance
  • Build custom reports and dashboards
  • Perform database maintenance tasks, including diagnostic tests and duplicate entry cleansing
  • Maintain, improve, and write standard work and documentation
  • Be an expert on the Institute’s Salesforce and how it interrelates with the Institute’s website
  • Collaborate with Institute staff to help improve their IT systems
  • Conduct regular training for staff and onboard new employees
  • Work with USU IT group to maintain systems and keep up to date on University technology
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in MIS or IT work
  • Experience with prioritizing and managing IT projects
  • Proficiency in hardware and networking troubleshooting
  • Understanding of Windows & Mac operating systems and troubleshooting
  • IT security understanding
  • Cloud Service administration
  • Database design and management
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JS
  • Friendly and professional people skills
  • Proactive, solution-minded contributor
  • Ability to train and coach
*Must be a US Citizen and be able to pass a background check*

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Salesforce certification
  • Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
  • Working knowledge of Websites, FormAssembly, Tableau
  • Experience with WordPress
  • Experience with Java
