Job Summary:
The Salesforce Administrator will lead the ongoing development of our Marketing Cloud (Exact Target) deployment. The successful candidate will have a record of success in improving processes and adoption using the platform. The administrator will work closely with functional leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts to identify develop and deploy new business processes including: Sales, Customer Relations, Credit, Marketing and our core program business processes within a B2B2C environment. This role is part technical project manager, part administrator and part content manager.
Responsibilities:
- Manage/Create Marketing Automation such as Journeys and mass email functionality on-demand basis.
- Create and manage automated data management programs ensuring clean, complete, and accurate customer database.
- Create and Manage email templates, campaigns and subscriber lists within ExactTarget.
- Complete regular internal system audits and help plan for upgrades and their impact on the user community.
- Analyze and report on email marketing metrics, such as open rate, click rates and optimize campaigns to improve ROI.
- Provide input on business needs and overall functional design for Salesforce.com data feeds and other integrations
- Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests.
- Work with our institutional management team to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities
- Effectively act as the liaison between our users, vendors and the application development teams
- Work independently with members of the user community to define and document development requirements
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards
- Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
- Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on ExactTarget and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes
- All other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as ExactTarget administrator.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience in Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.
- Strong Technical skills, including HTML, CSS and SQL
- Previous experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment highly preferred
- Strong data management abilities
- A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion
- A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements
