On behalf of Volkswagen Financial Services, we are searching for their next Technical Developer Salesforce (f/m/d).

Job Summary

As recruiting partner of Volkswagen Financial Services we are looking for a Salesforce Technical Developer (f/m/d) to join the Digital Unit and the CRM Team that is working on the next generation CRM platform and marketing & sales strategic initiatives. You will be either based out of the Berlin office or the central headquarters office located in Braunschweig, Niedersachsen.

You will be working in a fast paced and dynamic environment with the main objective to enhance the online customer experience that ensures online sales through various channels. Your responsibility will be the development of new Salesforce apps to meet company objectives and provide scalable processes which allow the business to manage sales, marketing and communication services in one place.

You will focus on designing, coding, and implementing Salesforce applications with the target to implement User Stories for Customer and Asset Journeys on the Salesforce platform. Crucial to this role will be a strong cooperation with the agile scrum team that you will be part of. You will work closely with the team members consisting of IT and business roles to determine CRM requirements.

What You Will Be Doing

• You will be responsible for developing customized solutions within the Salesforce platform
• You design, code and implement Salesforce solutions through Flows, Apex, LWC and JavaScript
• You will be responsible for implementing User Stories on the base of Use Cases using the Salesforce development platform, languages, and tools
• You migrate development assets into Production and several Sandboxes with help of CI/CD-Tooling via 2nd generation managed and unlocked packages, as well as metadata deployment
• You perform code reviews and develop unit tests in order to achieve sufficient test coverage for deployment of development assets
• You troubleshoot and fix bugs
• You drive the development of technical standards and utilize best practices
• You focus on the reusability of the developed solution and its sustainable design
• You maintain the security and integrity of the application software
• You will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and adaptation of the DevOps process from End-to-End

What You Bring To The Job

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering
• Professional work experience with application and software development
• Advanced knowledge of the suite of Salesforce products and third-party applications, e.g. 2nd Generation Packages, Salesforce DX, Experience Cloud
• Proficient in Apex, JavaScript, and Lightning Web Components
• Working knowledge of an IDE like VS Code
• Good communication skills
• Ability to problem-solve high-level software and application issues
• Ability to manage projects
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional, international teams within a collaborative environment; this means clear communication and respect for different cultures and different ways of thinking
• Certifications: Salesforce Platform App Builder, Platform Developer 1 & 2
