Our innovative, collaborative and rewarding work environment has earned repeat honors from the Washington Business Journal’s Best Places to Work and SmartCEO Corporate Culture awards.Responsibilities:Acuity, Inc. is looking for an experienced Salesforce Developer to join our National Security Business Unit and support a customer who recently adopted Salesforce. This person will serve as the Lead Developer in the implementation of Salesforce applications for automating complex business processes. The desired candidate duties and qualifications include:
- Provide technical and functional expertise to Salesforce project team in the analysis and review of existing or proposed system features and integration, security, scalability and performance requirements with users, business analysts, architects and team members
- Provide expert advice on complex system design issues and contribute to ongoing planning and development of systems enhancements
- Guide development teams on functionality requiring custom logic to meet requirements and demonstrate solution functionality to business stakeholders as needed
- Identify and specify technical / functional requirements, resources and processes for a complex sub-system or major system modification required to meet user requirements
- Create prototype designs for complex/ significant-risk projects
- Develop business-specific and/or application-level approaches and plans for testing, training, communicating, rolling out, and offering post-production support
- Identify and map relevant system integrations as needed
- Serve as 3rd level support for ongoing maintenance and production issuesQualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical field or equivalent work experience
- 1-3 years of professional experience with the Salesforce eco-system performing project implementations that exploit the full capabilities (administration, discover, design, implement and optimize) of the Salesforce platform while delivering in an Agile framework
- Proven exposure and experience with Salesforce platform tools and languages such as Apex, Lightning Components, Process Builder, Flow, and Workflow
- Experience designing and implementing Salesforce solutions in the sales, service, marketing, and data clouds
- Strong understanding of Salesforce infrastructure, security and related cloud technologies
- Working knowledge of Salesforce enhancements, releases and continuous integrations/deployments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work side by side with the customer as needed
- Must be able to commute to Arlington for customer meetings one or two times weekly
- Must be available to provide support to the customer and team between the core hours of 9am and 4pm Monday through Friday (excluding holidays and scheduled time off)
- 1+ years of Salesforce Development experience
- Platform App Builder Certification
Desired:
- Salesforce Administrator Certification
- Platform Developer I/II
Clearance Requirement:
- US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DHS clearance
