Job Summary

Responsible for implementing Testing Strategy at Agile squad level and contributing to its relentless continuous improvement. They will be a Testing practitioner and quality assurance champion, working as part of an integrated multi-functional Agile team. They understand the imperative of an integrated automated approach to Testing within a Digital world and are committed to this principle. They are passionate about technology, excited about the impact of emerging innovations and relish working in a constantly evolving environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Implement platform/product Testing Strategy for Agile sprints, and drive it’s improvement through constant learning
  • Actively contribute to the platform Testing Chapter, supporting colleagues through collaboration, innovation and sharing best practice
  • As an integral part of the Agile squad, collaborate to continuously improve value delivered, capability and practice, whilst ensuring quality is built into the process
  • Develop and implement appropriate value adding Test Automation solutions, embedding continuous testing capability into the delivery pipeline
  • Build an understanding of business priorities, product vision and value drivers
  • Collaborate closely with SME’s, Designers and Software Engineers to design and execute risk-based, targeted and regression testing coverage
  • Employ a creative mindset to perform exploratory testing, covering edge cases and deviating from the ‘happy path’
  • Expose software failures and unexpected behavioral deviations, share detailed defect information with team and help Product Owner to prioritize
  • Stay up to date with Testing best practices, industry innovations and trends
  • Adhere to pertinent regulatory requirements, company policies, practices and procedures (e.g., SOX, SOP, GLP, GMP, etc.)

Job Qualifications

EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in computer science / engineering or equivalent work experience
  • Tricentis Tosca - Automation Engineer Level 2 Certification (desirable)
EXPERIENCE:
Essential
  • Minimum of Two (2) years in a Test Engineering role (or equivalent e.g. Software Engineer)
  • A solid understanding of testing principles and their application within a digital change environment
  • Agile Testing experience with knowledge of frameworks/methodologies and use of ALM tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, Jira)
  • Ability to write/execute automated test scripts
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and proficient in writing tests for them
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML, JSON and the HTTP protocol

Desirable:
  • Salesforce Test or Software Engineering experience - knowledge of the following SFDC platform solutions preferred: Conga Configure, Price Quote (CPQ) and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Service Max, Live Agent (Chat) and Pardot/Einstein
  • Experience Testing LIMS systems
  • Coding proficiency in one or more object oriented, or scripting languages (e.g. C#, Java, Python, Ruby, Bash, PowerShell, etc.)
