About the Role
The Junior Salesforce Administrator will assist in maintaining an effective and efficient Salesforce environment that supports Scorpion's sales team and customer service efforts. You will partner closely with the Sales Operations, Sales, and other departments to improve sales productivity and efficiency with processes, reporting, and tools. This role requires a collaborative and detail-oriented individual impacting the daily operation of our business. You will report to the Director of Sales Operations on the Sales team.
What your success will look like
- User Support: Assisting Salesforce users with day-to-day issues, including login problems, access permissions, and general troubleshooting. Provide support in the sales help ticketing system, Enchant, at the direction of the Director of Sales Operations.
- Data Management: Managing and ensuring data integrity within Salesforce by importing, exporting, and updating records as needed. This includes data cleansing and deduplication.
- Customization: Assisting in the customization of Salesforce by creating and modifying fields, page layouts, record types, and validation rules to meet the specific needs of the organization.
- Workflow Automation: Building and maintaining workflow rules, process builder flows, and approval processes to automate business processes and streamline operations.
- Reports and Dashboards: Generating reports and dashboards to provide insights into sales and marketing performance and overall business data.
- Security and Permissions: Managing user roles, profiles, and permissions to ensure appropriate access to data and functionality within Salesforce.
- Training and Documentation: Training new users and creating documentation to help users understand how to use Salesforce effectively. Participate in sales team meetings and ensure all action items discussed are documented and executed
- Integration: Collaborating with other teams to organize and consolidate information from multiple systems and utilize Microsoft Excel to prepare lists and reports for consumption of the sales team and leadership, importing and exporting data between various systems.
- Collaboration: Proactively collaborate with the sales team to solicit feedback and improve or create processes and procedures as needed to boost productivity.
Who you are and what you bring
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, information technology, computer science, equivalent professional experience, or certifications
- Salesforce Administrator Certification Required
- 1-3 years of professional Sales Operations or Salesforce Administrator experience
- Salesforce Knowledge: A fundamental understanding of Salesforce, including its core features, objects, data model, and basic configuration options
- Technical Proficiency: Understanding formula fields, workflow rules, and process automation is essential. Familiarity with basic Salesforce development concepts (Apex, Visualforce) is a plus
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills are crucial to working closely with end-users, gathering requirements, providing support, and conducting training sessions
- Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to troubleshoot and solve basic Salesforce issues and work with more experienced administrators or support resources when needed
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure data quality
- Team Player: Collaboration with other team members, such as developers, analysts, and business stakeholders, is essential to manage and enhance Salesforce successfully
- Adaptability: The ability to learn quickly and adapt to changes and updates in the Salesforce platform is important as technology evolves

Compensation
- We acknowledge that states have passed legislation promoting pay transparency. As a national employer, Scorpion has made the decision to post our expected pay rate or pay range (as applicable) in all our job postings, regardless of geographic location.
- The base salary is $80,000 (entry-level) - 90,000 (highly experienced), exclusive of fringe benefits. If you are hired at Scorpion, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the total salary + annual variable range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
