Position Overview
Sales Administrator is responsible for executing assigned projects associated with inside sales, customer service, and cross-departmental communications. Specific account management are included.

Areas of Focus
Sales Administrator focuses on various projects from customer pricing within the sales department and processing warranty paperwork and website maintenance, developing tools/procedures and maintaining departmental responsibilities related to price sheet management.

Responsibilities
  • Executing assigned projects associated with inside sales, customer service, and cross- departmental communications
  • Maintain all aspects of the Trojan Battery Sales website, changing product-related content on the site (Add/Delete product and associated information)
  • Development and maintain the customer price sheets frequently and present to management for approval
  • Research price related discrepancies and update the price sheet as necessary
  • Provide strong administrative support to the sales and marketing team 5% of the time
  • Assist in scheduling and planning all sales meetings
  • Assist in tracking overall product sales per Regional Sales Representative / Geographical Territory
  • Maintain department database records
  • Work closely with the Director of Sales in aiding for the selling of Slow-Moving inventory: Includes the development of various Product Sell Sheets for the Outside Sales Staff 5% of the time
  • Pricing: Recommend creative pricing concepts for new product offerings considering market and geographic segments and creative methods to increase margins
  • Special project assignments
  • Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma
  • 2-3 years of work experience in administrative support role within a Sales or Marketing team
  • Proficient in MS applications of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Possess effective written/verbal communication skills, good understanding of math, and the basics of presentation materials
  • Familiarity with web-based order fulfillment processes and tools
  • Highly organized and consistently accurate in assembling data
  • Effective project management skills to balance competing work assignments and specific deadlines
  • Must possess exceptional organizational and multi-tasking abilities; decision-making skills and ability to perform complicated tasks
  • Must be detail-oriented and extremely accurate

Preferred Qualifications
  • AA degree
  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Manufacturing industry experience
