The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Salesforce and Business Development Consultant to join our Central Market Management Team, this is your chance to create your career in an exciting environment where anything is possible. As a Salesforce Consultant you will Work closely with specific business units and leaders to drive usage of Salesforce across 2000 global users and 700 European with multiple languages and currencies.

Your responsibilities for this role may include, but are not limited to:
  • Working across European Operations, alongside a Global Team and in collaboration with a virtual team of super users, providing effective support for 750 Salesforce.com users on a global platform with circa 2,000 users
  • Acting as an initial point of escalation for complex improvement opportunities and problems, managing Cases via effective queue management and the collation and interpretation of requirements for their resolution
  • Managing System Change Release including communicating changes to users and stakeholders
  • Leading the transition and delivery of Business Unit reporting and dashboard development and management
  • Managing and engaging with the Super User Community to build and maintain strong productive working relationships ensuring a fit for purpose application across all territories and business units
  • Responsible for improving data quality to enable performance management and business insight, by monitoring data quality of on/offshore data entry and automatic data generating processes, performing reconciliations and ETL actions to maintain the highest possible accuracy of data
  • Providing direct support to end users and educating and engaging with them in forums such as business meetings to encourage good practice system usage
  • Leading on user management process governance and trouble shooting - a remotely managed offshore service
  • Contributing to Strategic Business Development projects aligning and prioritising Case management with IT strategy and projects
  • Undertaking problem investigation, and analysis including workshop facilitation in order to enable Business Leaders to recommend new functionality and to develop good practices

You will need to be able to display you have the following qualifications and experience:
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce.com preferably in Financial Services/Insurance
  • Strong engagement skills and actively looks to partner with colleagues
  • Managing stakeholder relationships – ability to build and manage relationships, engages and manages stakeholders effectively, resolving issues and understanding drivers/needs
  • End User training via multiple formats including face to face
  • Communicating and managing relationships with Users and across various countries/cultures
  • Ability to write performance reports, business communications, presentations and procedure manuals.
  • Self Drive - responds to challenging priorities with a sense of urgency and pace.
  • Networking and business development skills
  • Team player
  • Some ability to work on projects and as part of a project team
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to users and other employees of the organization.
