Job Title: Senior Solutions Engineer


Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. Solutions Engineer to join our team. The Sr. Solutions Engineer will support our sales team in developing comprehensive media strategies and overseeing their implementation. This role is crucial in ensuring these strategies are effectively aligned with our clients’ goals and executed flawlessly.


Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Design:

  • Design and prepare customized packages combining DSP, social, audience/data analytics, onsite, and email solutions, aligning with client objectives, budget, and Cybba’s financial requirements.
  • Take ownership of both Cybba’s profitability and client performance when proposing solutions.
  • Educate clients, sales, and account management teams on why proposed solutions achieve client goals, both internally and externally.
  • Ensure end-to-end execution of proposed plans, ensuring they meet all delivery, performance, and internal financial goals.
  • Utilize feedback loops to tailor future proposals based on past campaign performance.
  • Support sales, account management, and technology teams by participating in scoping conversations and understanding client and prospect needs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Bridge gaps in expectations by actively engaging with clients, sales, account management, and technology teams (AdTech, MarTech, and Data).
  • Understand and communicate client expectations to the technology group, with a keen understanding of pacing, performance, and profitability impacts.
  • Ensure seamless and successful transitions from campaign build to execution.
  • Join key account management reviews to discuss campaign performance with clients.
  • Maintain strong relationships with product and technology teams and train commercial teams on new capabilities.
  • Write knowledge base documentation to enable the company to understand new capabilities.

Partner Relations:

  • Stay ahead of industry trends and client feedback to ensure Cybba’s offerings remain current.
  • Recommend new platforms that can enhance our campaign capabilities and media coverage.
  • Build relationships with platform and inventory partners to secure favorable terms and inventory access.


A Day in the Life: Sr. Solutions Engineer

Here’s what a typical day as a Sr. Solutions Engineer at Cybba might look like:


Morning:

  • Sales Calls: Join the sales team on calls with new prospects to provide technical insights and ensure proposed solutions are well-aligned with client needs.
  • Cross-Department Sync: Collaborate with product and tech teams to ensure solutions align with client goals and are ready for implementation.

Midday:

  • Performance Reviews: Analyze campaign data and share insights with sales and account teams to keep everyone aligned.
  • Media Plan Design: Work within DSPs and with our data team to create customized so that meet client objectives and Cybba’s profitability targets.

Afternoon:

  • Strategy Alignment: Lead strategy sessions with sales and account teams to refine proposals based on past performance.
  • Campaign Transition: Ensure smooth transitions from planning to execution, coordinating with all relevant teams.

End of Day:

  • Client Calls: Participate in client meetings to provide technical insights and address their needs.
  • Wrap-Up: Update stakeholders on campaign progress and prepare for the next day, ensuring complete alignment across teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in media planning and strategy development, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Strong understanding of programmatic advertising and digital marketing.
  • Expertise and certifications in advertising platforms such as The Trade Desk, Microsoft Advertising (Invest, Curate, LinkedIn, etc.), StackAdapt, Google Marketing Cloud (DV360, SA360, CM360, GA4), Meta (Facebook & Instagram), and TikTok.
  • Expertise in Email Marketing platforms such as Klaviyo, Eloqua, HubSpot Marketing Hub, Intuit MailChimp, Active Campaign, Constant Contact, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Experience in Conversion Rate Optimization platforms such as Yieldify, Wunderkind
  • Experience working in Data Management (DMP) and Customer Data (CDP) Platforms such as LiveRamp
  • Experience with project management systems such as Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
  • Knowledge of project management frameworks and methodologies such as Lean or Scrum.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Finance, Computer Science, Data & Analytics, or related field.
  • Project management certifications such as PMP.
  • Experience in managing technology and platform integrations, especially related to data, APIs, and reporting.
  • Ability to develop a keen understanding of current technical capabilities, what can be built quickly, and what requires significant development efforts.
  • Act as a subject matter expert when approving sales and client requests for customer solutions.
  • Experience with BI Tools such as AWS Quicksight, Looker, Tableau, Google Data Studio.
  • Experience with SQL.
