Salesforce/CPQ Administrator
Position Overview:
The Salesforce Administrator role is part of TT Business Systems. This role will lead the ongoing development and support of our Salesforce.com deployment. This position is the liaison between organizational subject matter experts, management, Information Technology, Strategic Planning & Analysis. This role will be responsible for the technical execution of projects and day-to-day operations: configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of our CRM platform, troubleshoot Salesforce issues, handle administration, configure & develop requirements, maintain application security controls and create customized solutions.
Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for all changes to the configuration, development, test, and deploy customizations, custom objects, new subsidiaries and new functionality based on evolving business needs
Propose system design/enhancements based on problems and product requirements
Develop and create customized reports and dashboards
Act as a subject matter expert on functionality and code-level detail
Primary resource and subject matter expert for all CPQ strategy and configuration needs
Provide pre- and post-implementation technical support
Keep abreast of new Salesforce features and functionality, and provide recommendations for process improvements
Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks
Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades
Manage Salesforce.com data feeds and other integrations
Responsible for maintaining required documentation around new processes or customizations.
Assist with training of new users to grow Salesforce skill set across the organization
Required Skills:
5+ years of professional experience as a Salesforce.com Admin
2+ years of Data Analytics, Reporting or Sales Analytics Experience
Sales Cloud and Service Cloud configuration experience
CPQ configuration expertise with minimum 2 years or equivalent project experience
In‐depth knowledge of the standard capabilities of Salesforce.com and have successfully expanded on those capabilities
Previous re‐engineering experience updating an existing Salesforce.com configuration to provide solutions for reporting, workflows and enhanced function
Strong reporting background using standard Salesforce.com functionality
Detail oriented and self‐starter with strong written and interpersonal skill
Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
Strong problem solving skills, data and software applications
Preferred Skills:
Salesforce.com certification(s): Administrator, CPQ
Understanding of general accounting principles, including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
