Position Summary:
The ADT Customer Experience (CX) team is seeking an Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Automation Manager to elevate our marketing automation capabilities across all lines of business. This is both a technical and strategic role working with our automated marketing platform – Salesforce Marketing Cloud. The ideal candidate should have a passion not only for email marketing but an understanding of customer segmentation with lifecycle marketing expertise. This includes journey design and configuration, HTML/AMPscript coding, audience segmentation and data integration.
Successful candidate will bring analytical thinking to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment, while always keeping the larger customer strategy top of mind.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Strategically develop, execute and manage ADT's customer email campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud throughout the customer lifecycle to effectively communicate the brand, maximize sales and minimize breakage and churn through email marketing.
  • Build journeys and triggers in SFMC, working closely with IT to retrieve new data points that support new programs and enhance existing programs
  • Own the day-to-day project management of email marketing campaigns; including campaign scoping, production, QA, deployment and delivery analysis.
  • Drive the customer upsell/cross-sell and service level campaigns for ADT while delivering constant improvement to our automation campaigns in SFMC.
  • Act as a cross-functional project manager to intake requirements from stakeholders to build and execute world-class email and automation campaigns end-to-end.
  • Own the core KPI's for all email campaigns and work with internal analytics team to ensure proper reporting is delivered throughout the business.
  • Build and execute quarterly testing roadmaps to drive constant performance gains on open rates, engagement and conversion through email.
  • Continue to prove the measurable value of email programs by executing different forms of incrementality testing across programs for both leads and existing customers.
  • Work with Marketing Analytics team to carry out segmentation of the database and implement remarketing strategies.
  • Manage outside consultants and vendor relationships used for email deliverability and Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementation to ensure effective use of all outside resources.
  • Work very closely with in-house marketing and customer experience (CX) teams to ensure the proper creative and messaging is delivered across all lines of business.
  • Develop and maintain Visios and/or Miro boards to illustrate the flow of all email communication streams.
  • Maintain internal support documents consisting of all lead and customer email communications.
  • Work directly with internal/external CX, product, engineering & IT teams to ensure the email marketing team delivers on expectations.
  • Develop and own email marketing business objectives and key results supporting marketing strategy and business goals tied to sales revenues, customer onboarding, upsell and service attachment.
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
Experience:
  • 5+ years' experience in building and running B2C email programs
  • 3+ years' experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud ecosystem, including Email Studio and Journey Builder or the like
  • 3+ years' experiences in SQL, HTML, AMPscript, etc.

Skills:

  • Passion for email marketing and customer journey analysis
  • Understanding of email best practices and CAN/SPAM compliances
  • Understanding of customer lifecycle marketing including building out data-driven, personalized campaigns.
  • Average use of Photoshop for quick media asset changes related to email deployments in the SFMC
  • Excellent project management skills, ability to multitask effectively, and work cross-functionally
  • Highly skilled in gathering and interpreting data from disparate systems for the purpose of optimizing multiple KPIs at the same time.
  • Capable of and willing to act on his/her own. Seeks responsibilities and takes action without explicit instructions.
