PRODUCT OWNER - SALESFORCE

What you will be doing:

  • Own the product vision and roadmap for Salesforce CRM and Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Partner with business leads and key stakeholders to translate business strategy and opportunity into a strategic technical roadmap, associated budgets and a detailed prioritized backlog of user stories
  • Collaborate with technical and business teams to implement, measure, and learn from product improvements
  • Product expert combining industry analysis, end-user feedback and development knowledge
  • Drive consensus while finding a path forward to deliver a roadmap that everyone can rally around
  • Launch new features by collaborating with business partners and leading trainings, as needed
  • Translate high level business requirements into business solutions and work with technology teams to clarify solutions at a detailed level to validate designs
  • Work collaboratively and use best practices with the delivery team to support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and long-term release planning
  • Ensure the product backlog is visible, open, and clear to all
  • Serve as the scrum master for the delivery team by enabling self-organization, removing impediments and fostering an environment for high-performing team dynamics, continuous delivery, and continuous improvement
  • Support the development of training material for product teams and support teams with implementation planning
  • Partner with engineering teams to groom the backlog, estimate the effort, and participate in agile scrum ceremonies while monitoring and improving the product health
  • Define and track key performance indicators to showcase the value of the product to the business and platform partners

What we are looking for:

  • Thorough knowledge of Salesforce CRM and Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Deep understanding of the art of business requirements elicitation
  • Requirements gathering, business modeling, project scoping, and use case creation
  • Good commercial and decision-making skills, able to ideate, own and build roadmaps
  • Ability to evaluate new technologies, understand and communicate trade-offs of build vs. buy
  • Passionate about solving sophisticated problems through the power of technology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including creation and delivery of effective presentations to executive teams
  • Influencing skills, including experience working within a large matrixed organization
  • Analytical, relationship building and problem-solving abilities
  • Communicates effectively with team members, stakeholders and any level of management
  • Some travel within the U.S. and U.K. required
  • Preferred: 3-5+ years’ experience as a Salesforce Product Owner
