Primary Responsibilities:
The Senior Salesforce Administrator has a high level of interaction with NISC's key stakeholders and departments, including the sales teams, product line managers (PLMs), Implementation project managers, accounting and various subject matter experts (SMEs). You will use your knowledge of Salesforce & CPQ (Configure Price Quote) capabilities to assist in connecting business requirements to available Salesforce configuration options. In addition to managing day to day responsibilities of the Salesforce and CPQ environment, you will also be involved with data analysis for reporting and provide internal training on the Salesforce platform. A large amount of fact finding, critical thinking, and collaboration will be required to ensure proper processes and improvements can be made to the Salesforce platform for enhancements to business functions. Requirements include the ability to manage projects, effective problem-solving skills and excellent verbal and written skills to communicate effectively with a wide variety of audiences.
Essential Duties:

  • Perform advanced level data analysis and report findings using CRM system.
  • Create and customize advanced level in complexity reports and dashboards within the CRM system.
  • Maintain and update CPQ software to include changes or additions to product pricing, discounts and workflow notifications.
  • Perform data hygiene within the CRM system as directed.
  • Provide moderate level training on the CRM system to internal stakeholders while creating and developing training programs.
  • Create and develop advanced processes and workflows within the CRM platform to provide enhancements to business functions.
  • Partner with sales teams to enforce and create moderate process improvements that align with CRM data integrity efforts.
  • Program basic level functionality within the CRM system as directed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Preferred:

  • Generally requires 3+ years of experience administering Salesforce.
  • Working level knowledge of NISC's pricing models, software applications, and hardware.
  • Working level knowledge of CRM tools and 3rd party integrations.
  • Moderate ability to demonstrate initiative and accountability.
  • Working level knowledge of Project Management processes and theory.
  • Moderate level verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and training skills.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and an ability to deal effectively with Member/Customers.
  • Excellent research and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to Detail.
  • Strong ability to organize and prioritize.
  • Moderate level ability to interact in a positive manner with internal and external contacts.
  • Moderate level ability to set and manage internal and external Member/Customer expectations.
  • Ability to travel as often as necessary to meet the goals and objectives of the position.
  • Working level knowledge of business-related software applications and services.
  • Basic level ability to mentor others.

Education Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
