Salesforce Developer

Behavior Frontiers is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to build a cutting-edge Salesforce app to support our mission to provide effective treatment to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. The Salesforce Developer is responsible for designing and developing Salesforce applications in Sales Cloud, Health Cloud, and Marketing Cloud within the Salesforce.com platform using industry best practices. The candidate should have an in-depth knowledge of the Salesforce.com platform and the ability to apply that knowledge in order to translate current business processes into successful solutions within Salesforce.com.

Location: Gardena, CA

Responsibilities:

  • Serves as primary system developer/administrator for the Salesforce environment with 200+ users and multiple department-specific platforms
  • Lead requirements gathering, user story refinement and effort estimation exercises for all requested changes or proposed projects
  • Serve as primary system administrator and handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows, and other routine tasks
  • Develop custom Salesforce applications that solve complex business problems by working across various departments and understanding the needs of the teams
  • Develop standard (out-of-the-box), moderately tailored, and fully custom solutions and enhancements for Sales Cloud, Health Cloud and Marketing Cloud
  • Develop custom code using Visualforce, APEX, Java and other technologies to support business goals
  • Create custom fields, implement workflows, and create custom page layouts
  • Create advanced reports and dashboards
  • Experience with Release Management, Source Control, and Deployment concepts and technologies such as SFDC Metadata API
  • Assist with integrations between Salesforce ecosystem products as well as other internal and external systems as needed
  • Collaborate with and inform multiple departments of new feature technical design, technical requirements, limitations, and implementation
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing of new product functionality; analyze and mitigate issues identified during testing
  • Review and stay current with Salesforce Cloud platform and installed applications and integrations
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Required:

  • 3+ years development experience with Salesforce.com platform and data model
  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, software engineering, IT, or related field
  • Act as hands-on primary developer of solutions using key Salesforce core programing languages (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, HTML, XML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, SOQL, RestAPIs)
  • Proficiency in related tools (Data Loader, Workbench, Force.com IDE, Developer Console), cloud or on premise middleware and other enterprise integrating technologies
  • Experience working with APIs, integrations and Microservices
  • Knowledge of software development patterns & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
  • Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of integrations, third-party integration tools and ETL with Salesforce
  • Salesforce Community Development/Configuration experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Salesforce Administrator
  • Certified Salesforce Platform Developer II certification or equivalent experience
  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
  • Experience in a health care organization
