Job Overview
Salesforce ISV architect who is passionate and experienced at building new applications from scratch, as well as the ability to effectively refactor and integrate existing applications.
A trusted advisor with deep technical expertise in Salesforce Architecture and a leader with vision who will provide overall technical direction, guidance and definition of Salesforce architecture to deliver products that effectively support our business strategy. The candidate should have exceptional communication and negotiation skills, combined with experience guiding software and quality engineer’s analysts in implementing production quality solutions. The Salesforce Architect will drive conversations with diverse internal and external teams ranging from architecture, development, and infrastructure to produce an optimal design for our products. Strong candidates will have AppExchange Salesforce Product Development and operational experience at large scale and successfully released the products to AppExchange in Pharma/CRO domain.

Essential Functions

- Own the technical relationship with Salesforce to ensure best practices are adhered to and enforced

- Looking for our products to stand out via the strategic impact, innovation, and necessary risks for you to make your mark
- Guide Salesforce Development teams through AppExchange Product development cycle ( design/architecture decisions, packaging, driving SF security review process)
- Partner with stakeholders across Product Development & Product Management to lead the Design direction, drive key technical decision points
- Responsible for architecting and documenting a technical solution based on project requirements and Salesforce best practices
- Experienced in analyzing Business Requirements, Entity Relationship diagram and designing them to Salesforce custom objects, junction objects, master-detail relationships and lookup relationships
- Work closely with product management in understanding the business requirement and provide inputs on technical requirements
Skills
- A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience as an architect or developer in Salesforce Platform
- A minimum of 5 years as hands-on architecture and development, in a lead capacity in Salesforce Platform
- Experience in integrating with Salesforce with external systems using variety of integration patterns
- Significant experience with dealing with complex custom applications understanding Salesforce capabilities and governor limits
- Significant experience with APIs, web services, and general integration challenges and solutions, and ideally experience working with the MuleSoft platform
- Significant experience in Agile and/or Kaizen environments;
- Working knowledge of information security in the pharma industry;
- Experience in the Life Sciences, Healthcare or clinical drug development domains;
- Exceptional written, verbal and presentation communication skills;
- A proven track record of leadership and mentoring;
- The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with little direct supervision
