The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist is responsible for developing and executing email, marketing automation campaigns and customer journeys that drive the reputation and growth of the nation’s #1 wholesale mortgage lender and Detroit’s fastest growing company, UWM.
In this role, you’ll leverage our data and technology to build and send emails, develop, document and implement journeys, and solve key communication challenges. You’ll collaborate with the marketing automation team (as well as other stakeholders) to optimize and the Salesforce Marketing Cloud ecosystem, maintain quality control and analyze campaign performance.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
  • Developing and managing configurations within Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Championing compliance standards (i.e., CAN-SPAM and CASL) and best practices around analysis and requirements
  • Managing data extensions, data feeds, segmentations and integrations with Salesforce and our other data and technology platforms; problem solving integration issues
  • Building, testing and sending email, SMS and MMS messages and marketing automations
  • Ensuring assets delivered by the creative team match campaign specifications and delivery timeframes
  • Providing ongoing measurement and analysis of email campaigns; preparing data-driven recommendations for ongoing optimization of messaging and content
  • Problem solving with a high attention to detail
  • Proactively researching and making recommendations regarding new features, email marketing trends, changes in browser capabilities and multimedia development standards; ensuring best practices are followed and updated as needed
  • Act as a SME on Salesforce Marketing Cloud for internal teams and developer
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
  • Three+ years of experience developing emails and journeys in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Journey Builder, Automation Studio and Email Studio (or at least one year in Marketing Cloud with three+ years using similar systems)
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, SQL and AMP Script with experience in email coding optimization
  • Solid understanding of marketing processes and tactics and email best practices (ex: A/B testing, data cleaning)
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret and translate data into actionable steps
  • Curious, innovative and fast learner who is willing to bring new ideas to the table
  • Excellent project management, teamwork and communication skills
  • Strong verbal and written communicator
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud email certification preferred, Interaction Studio experience a plus
