Position Overview:

The CX Architect will work closely with global project teams consisting of both internal and external partners and actively participate in all phases of new CX implementations. This includes planning, application and solution design, configuration, development of custom solutions, application integration, and data migration. The initial focus of this role will be a key member of a project team to roll out a new field services solution.


Terex leverages multiple functions of Salesforce and Oracle Cloud CX applications. This architect position will play a critical role in optimizing solutions within and across these platforms, leveraging multiple applications in the CX, Sales, and CRM suite.


This architect will be working with a dispersed group of developers, business stakeholders, and IT peers located in different countries and time zones. A flexible approach to working and an understanding of cultural diversities is required where English is the working language.


Responsibilities:


  • Engage with business stakeholders and partner IT departments to identify, recommend, and design technology solutions
  • Lead key design decisions including detailed description of each option, pros and cons of each solution and recommendations.
  • Develop phased implementation roadmap of the solution architecture supporting business priorities and budget as required.
  • Communicate and work effectively in a global environment.
  • Engage in the entire agile software development lifecycle.
  • Develop and evolve processes for operating effectively with internal and external partners.
  • Proactively recommend solutions to known business challenges and opportunities.
  • Assist in application strategy and roadmap development.
  • Incorporate industry best practices into requirements and user stories.
  • Develop proof of concepts or prototypes and present to stakeholders.
  • Serve as a technical mentor and provide aid and leadership to the development and support teams.
  • Create technical architecture diagrams.
  • Perform business process and user experience modelling.
  • Validate architecture and design proposals from external partners.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience in Field Service implementations.
  • 5 years’ experience in CRM products. Preferably Oracle stack.
  • 3 years’ experience as a CRM Architect.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Up to 25% travel required.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a complex enterprise application environment with integrations and customizations to support multiple business processes.
  • Familiar with Oracle CX architecture, implementation, debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have played key architecture roles in CRM implementations.
  • Experience independently managing mid-large projects and providing technical guidance to the team.
  • Integration experience with web services (SOAP, REST APIs).
  • Familiarity with enterprise integration tools and extract, transformation, and load (ETL) tools (such as Oracle Integration Cloud, Informatica, Dell Boomi).
  • Experience with sales, service, marketing, and warranty processes.
  • Prior experience implementing CPQ a plus.
  • Understanding and experience with Oracle ERP systems a plus.
  • Awareness of programmatic solutions using JavaScript, HTML, HTML5, CSS
  • Knowledge in CI/CD pipeline implementation a plus
  • Excellent writing, facilitation, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Candidate should be results driven and a self-starter.
  • Candidate must be a team player.
  • Must be able to quickly understand business challenges and needs.
  • Must be able decompose high-level information into details.
  • Ability to organize and lead meetings with large stakeholder groups.
  • Fluent in English.
