We have an opportunity for a Salesforce Platform Developer to join our Cary, NC team. You’ll play a vital role in building the future of our customer loyalty programs at Pentair. You’ll work alongside our internal agency responsible for maintaining the platform, as well as teams around the world to deliver a best-in-class customer experience. You’ll be responsible for triage of incoming bugs, as well as making enhancements to the platform to streamline our user experience.
You will:
- Develop and maintain Salesforce codebase, manage dependencies of AppExchange packages, and integration with other third-party solutions
- Routinely review code, configuration, data, and usage to ensure long-term viability and integrity
- Make suggestions and recommendations for modifications and enhancements to system and process improvement and efficiency
- Design, code, test, debug, package, and deploy solutions on the Salesforce platform
- Document existing and new solutions in partnership with our internal dev team
- Work together with business users to iterate on system functionality based on feedback
- Adhere to enterprise DevOps deployment processes
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with technical implementation, day-to-day operations, and long-term maintenance of Salesforce
- Expertise in several areas including Apex (with emphasis on Batch Apex), Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, Custom Metadata, VS Code, Data Loader, and other Salesforce development tools.
- Strong ability to use Salesforce APIs to integrate Salesforce with other tools
- Experience collaborating with third-party managed package vendors
- Solid knowledge of and experience working with web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience with Agile development practices
- Salesforce Certifications: Platform Developer 1
