Job Details

As a Regional Lead your main responsibility will be in managing and driving the learning experience of the program’s participants. This entails taking on key responsibilities of mentoring and coaching individuals on the program, aligning with local stakeholders, delivering impactful content based on your area of expertise, ensuring the smooth operation and delivery of activities and processes, as well as recruitment of future program cohorts. The ideal person for this role enjoys (and has experience) running virtual teams or programs, or managing others, preferably early-in-career, diverse talent. If you are someone who brings great ideas to the table, has a proven track record of implementing those ideas, and you gain personal satisfaction from seeing others succeed, then this is a great role for you.

Program Details

The EMEA Early in Salesforce Solutions Career Program was first launched in September 2017 as a graduate program but has since broadened to give opportunity to other talented individuals from a diverse group of backgrounds to embark on a career within the Solutions organisations at Salesforce. The program offers continuous development and growth opportunities centred on comprehensive learning paths, direct involvement in customer engagements, coaching and mentoring programs, and exciting career opportunities, all while being part of an international community.

Responsibilities:

This is a constantly evolving program, which presents opportunities to expand and grow your areas of responsibility and impact, depending on your aspirations. To begin with, the core pillars of the role are:

People Manager (50%)

  • Serve as career mentor and coach for each cohort participant, ensuring their continued well-being and development throughout their first 12-18 months at Salesforce

  • Coordinate the progression of the cohort through the phases of the program, ensuring all participants meet key landmarks

  • Be an effective role model, mentor and coach to the talented individuals participating in the program.

  • Keep the cohort fully engaged building a strong team identity and sense of family.

  • Deliver active contributions to and spar with the entire Program team, foster team spirit, define best practices, and ensure consistency of experience for all.

  • Be a champion for diversity and inclusion.

Business Alignment (20%)

  • Drive communication and act as program advocate to the Solutions team you are aligned to, focusing on the business impact of the program.

  • Ensure the Program participants are both embedded & supported within their assigned functional teams, by forming a close working relationship with the Home Team Managers and being responsible for the progression of each individual.

  • Act as Program liaison with regional leadership, ensuring a two-way feedback loop, and sparring partner for business line managers in fiscal year HC planning.

Role SME (20%)

  • Serve as subject matter expert of the Solutions role delivering program content on soft skills and product knowledge.

  • Align with key stakeholders on enablement needs to build required role competencies and drive delivery of role-specific enablement.

Recruitment (10%)

  • Partner with local FutureForce University Recruiting representatives on target roles, ideal profiles, and campus engagement plans.

  • Work with regional leaders to identify and develop other potential talent sources for the program.

  • Drive business participation in recruitment activities, and ensure their proper briefing

  • Set interview teams, interview candidates, coordinate Success Centers, and ultimately facilitate the hiring decisions.

Experience/Skills Required:

  • Affinity for coaching, mentoring and empowering talent

  • Comfortable with a fast-paced, agile working environment, characterized by constant change and ambiguity, yet needing to bring structure around it

  • Strong, versatile communication skills, capable of flexing communication style toward both junior and senior stakeholders

  • Passionate about diversity, equality, and raising the profile of early-in-career talent at Salesforce

  • Previous experience working with / developing early-in-career professionals

  • Previous experience working with Salesforce Solutions.

  • Previous experience working in a Sales or Sales supporting role.
