Lead Engineer Responsibilities:
As an expert of Salesforce solutions, you will focus on delivering functional solutions that fits with our business and organization. You will be leading the “Salesforce as a service”, Engineering side of the tool with: all connection to our own infreatsutruce, the security levels, APEX coding and global health of the tool.

You will be in charge of the engineering of the solution; making sure that the tool is efficient, sustainable and well connected to our in-house infrastructure. From the different Salesforce solutions we are using the: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud and Pardot.

As a manager, you will be managing a growing team, helping them on their daily tasks and giving a clear vision for the tool development and their progress.

Tool maintenance:
  • You will be the owner of our Salesforce technical environment
  • Collaborate with our other teams to validate business requirements and any other considerations, such as security, scalability, or limits
  • Create an updated and detailed documentation of each process, script, automation, and data points
  • Write the technical documentation related to the custom integration
  • Suggest best practices and build guidelines to improve our system productivity, scaling and monitoring.
  • Ensure both quality and security standards are developed and maintained
  • Troubleshoot and Fix defects for planned releases and production issues

Collaboration & management
  • Collaborate with other teams to improve the platform continuously (ex : Drive the implementation of DevOps tools, build archiving strategy and tools)
  • Define the architecture for products built on top of Salesforce and/or support
  • Drive or contribute to Proof of Concepts or MVPs
  • Help your team members on their daily tasks and to progress on their knowledge of the tool.

Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience with general Salesforce Sales and Service cloud setup and features: Standard and Custom objects, Field creation, User creation, Page Layouts, Record Types, Lightning Pages, Experience Site Builder, Omni Channel, Case Management, etc.
  • Great understanding of Salesforce Flows and best practices (optimizing and bulkifying flows) & with Approval processes
- Understanding APEX - what it is used for, what it can do, and how it can be used to establish the API connection between Salesforce and other systems (custom applications)
  • Experience with Security settings, setting up access, following GDPR compliance, etc.
- Minimum Certified Administrator certification - preferably Advanced Admin or Architect
  • Multi-tasking: Ability to manage several projects in parallel and to stay cool under pressure
  • Adaptability: Imaginative and open-minded, you can adapt to the audience
  • Project Management: Estimate engineering effort during various stages of project cycle.
  • Strong problem-solving skills: you know how to overcome challenges with solutions
