SALESFORCE MARKETING SPECIALIST - LINCOLN, NE or FULLY REMOTE

Ascend has an exciting opportunity for a Salesforce Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing team. We are looking for an enthusiastic marketer who will be an integral part of the development and execution of marketing plans to reach targets from brand awareness to service promotion.

The marketing specialist should be a competent professional able to grasp consumer behavior trends and generate creative ideas. You should also be well-versed in specialized marketing concepts, principles, and tactics. This marketing specialist will be responsible for all marketing initiatives to support Ascend’s Salesforce Line of Business, including driving leads for both Salesforce Management and Salesforce Consulting services. The goal is to deliver effective marketing programs that will help generate quality leads, expand our brand recognition, and contribute to overall company growth.

Your day-to-day as a Salesforce Marketing Specialist:

  • Strategizing and developing content that engages, leads, and moves them through the buyer's journey (blogs, ebooks, social media)
  • Conducting market research to identify trends and demographic data
  • Brainstorming, developing, and executing ideas for creative marketing campaigns in collaboration with Sales leaders and internal Salesforce Service teams
  • Assist with inbound and outbound marketing activities
  • Liaising with Salesforce partner representative(s) to execute promotional events and campaigns
  • Collaborate with marketing and other professionals to coordinate brand awareness
  • Planning and executing initiatives to reach target audience through social media, e-mail, paid ads, etc.
  • Assisting in analyzing marketing data to help shape future marketing strategies

Your Skills and Experience:

  • BS/BA in Marketing, Communications or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience as a B2B marketing specialist or similar role
  • Thorough understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem, tools and solutions
  • Solid marketing elements skills (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO, Social media etc.) and market research methods
  • Demonstrable experience in creating content such as email campaigns, eBooks, webinars, etc.
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office, specifically in creative PowerPoint development as well as marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite & CRM), and applications (Web analytics, Google Adwords etc.)
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS and web development tools a plus but not required
  • HubSpot experience a plus but not required
